    Subject: Sioux's teepee

Any of you even once build a teepee? I know that its provides a small hitpoint bonus to nearby units, but i wondering if is it the same bonus as get from the warchief, where to build and when. Maybe when we realise where the battle will happens. So, any idea?

the teepee's aura radius is pretty small and boosts hitpoints, whereas the warchief boosts nearby units speed and the aura radius is a lot bigger

So, build a teepee doesnt make any sense to me. 100w for nothing. It would be very cool if we build it in circle around the Home city and boost everything inside.

But and if teepee is close to a vill, make it works faster?

actually, they are useless early game, but in late game if you booming or your partner booming, you make teepees near your FB or your normal base and you will have a boost, a very usefull thing is the card that allows wakinas, clubs and cetans build teepees, corrals and war huts, so when you on a  battle you instantly build a teepee and you recieve a small boost to all units, it is very usefull :P.

    1. Teepees cost 50 Wood, not 100
    2. There is a card that increases units' attack around Teepees as well
    3. There is a card that makes them cheaper and stronger
    4. There is a card that allows Sioux Infantry to build them.
    5. You don't have to build them if you don't want

    'nuff said.

To sum up Laz's post. Use all 3 cards and teepees are definitely worth it.

Run down = see enemy units, make wakina spam 3-5 teepees quick, get a small hp boost but the attack boost is amazing. 4-6 teepees can get your wakinas up to 30 attack, and if it gets really late game I end up having 50 attack wakinas since I have to build as I advance, but if you're defending with a bunch of teepees nearby plus attack dance, its possible to get 90+ attack wakinas.

Realistically though, getting fortress age wakina with 30 attack is probably the best you'll get using teepees if you're being agressive.

In my opinion definitely worth it if  you know what you're doing.

Amen to what this guy said.

Anyways TeePees are very usefull when trying to breach into somebodies base. Once you have penetrated his colony start slapping them down together with Warhuts. This would normally stop your opponent all together in his tracks.

teepees are the souix version of fort hopping once you've sent all three cards. Cheap, insane boost for units, built very quick, combined with warhuts, and it's actually pretty lame.

The 2 Teepee cards can be sent in age 2, making it a good strat for the Sioux to start of with, which probably nobody knows Stick out tongue Its one of my strats. The cards are called

1.) Nomandic expansion - Where you can build more teepees and they are cheaper.
2.) Friendly Territory - Teepees now boost military attack. Almost like a unmovable missionary.

Yes the area boost is pretty small but when you send the first teepee card out you can make more. 8 teepees for 400 wood. Pretty cheap.

They can be pretty good when you send as a forward base. Teepees saved me in 2 of my treaty games, once when I was sure I was going to loose this game, then I first realised that teepees can be used as a forward base (rofl) as you can see here look on the mini map : http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n152/daemien21/screen25.jpg

2.) when i was getting beat by a players unbeatable combo, I totaly forgot about teepees for defence (roflcopter) set them teepees up put wakinas behind them and bam i pushed them back. me and my partner won the game due to the other guy having to "eat supper' and the other guy resigning saying it was not fair and i told him i would just sit back and watch, n if he wins ill delete all my stuff i keep my word.

IMO teepees should get nerfed when outside of town center range to prevent forward base "laming" as in their bonus should get nerfed by 1 or 2 percent but when put back inside it should go back up.

But I would also like new options like warchief can build teepees (as asian monks can), or teepees give bonus to villager hitpoints since it doesnt it only gives bonuses to military units.
