Chinese are a good civ. yet they truely have no one good unit. They win in pure mass.

Re: Whats the chinesse are good at?
here it goes
flame throwers take 4 population and are make in the castle like all other leige units in TAD
they are good at taking out massed infanty or tearing down buldings
chunoku are rapid fire archers with weak attack and hitpoins but a speed of 5 adn a fast rate of fire
arbisquaters are musketeers with an anti cavalry hand attack that is an image of the chunoku in the fact thatt it has a rate of fire slightly better than the average musketeer
qiong pikeman are anticavalry and are cheap
flaming arrows are siege weopns similar to a rocket for the british exept it takes 4 population not 6 and it comes from a castle
changdoa swordsman are a basic image of qiong pikes but thier siege damage is way beeter their anticavalry damage is a little better adn they are more expensive
Steppe riders are a heay cavlry unit similar to the hussar but cheaper adn less powerful and are not commonly used
meteor hammers are the best unit for the chinese and are better than hussars but similar in price
iron flails are also better than hussars but have bunuses against infantry so are extremely expensive similar to the oprchnik for the russians
hand mortars are weak siege weopons with similar attack to a culvertin but a little less price and less HP but have a 2.5Xbonus against buildings
all units are trained in banner armies whci are groups of soldiers that tend to complement eackother in ability. this ability makes them teh worst civ in my opinion so far(but i love teh flame throweres)
u can get 5 castles instead of 7 outposts
the best card is probably teh one taht changes all chunoku to arbisquaters adn all ciong pikes to changdao swordsman

Re: Whats the chinesse are good at?
- You forgotten something very important of flamethrowers, they fire twice each second and are available in colonial, but they got just 10 of range.
- Chu ko nus dont fire fast, they just fire 3 arrows at same time, their rate of fire its slow, the same that a skirmisher or a crossbow.
- Arquebuisers are NOTHING alike muskeeters, arquebusiers are just a very cheap and cost effective skirmisher, they counter heavy infantry, they are not muskeeters. They are skirmishers
- Quiang pikes are basically normal pikemen.
- Flaming arrows are a japanese unit, not a chinese unit, china gets flying crows, flying crows take 7 population, and are much weaker than a rocket, and you cant build em in castles, only bonus they got its that you can get em even in colonial age with a wonder.
- Changdaos are basically halberdiers.
- Steppe riders are exellent raiders, are very cheap, but they got very good attack for their cost, also got a bonus of x2.0 to infantry (though a x0,50 to heavy infantry)
- Meteor hammers are just like hussars, but this got a bonus to artillery, and they attack from range, as their name says, they got a meteor hammer, the hammer is so big that it can attack from a little range.
- They arent similar to oprichniks of russia, they havent got good siege, tey havent got a bonus to vilalgers, siege troopers, or even artillery, hell oprichniks and iron flails are totally different units how can you even compare em..
- Those are siege elephants, hand mortars got a bonus of x16.0 to buildings, a x14.0 to ships, and 6.0 to artillery, they got so high bonuses because their attack its just 5, but they got an incredible range, are the cheapest artillery unit (150 resources) and cost just 1 pop.
- You forget keshiks, keshiks are basically ruyters, but keshiks fire twice fast than ruyters.
- But castles got much more hit points, and can train artillery, and even arquebusiers and keshiks.

Spangopola:Chinese are great since they are OP.
When I read this I rofled, china not OP, china not even in the top 7 civs, hell, get the 1.01 patch or red the patch notes, the only OP civs are Japan or India (some consider germany or even Aztecs OP). P.S. OP means overpowered, for those wh dont know its meaning.

Re: Whats the chinesse are good at?
theres not much point in using qiang pikes over changdao becase the stats are so different and better for swordsman that u shouldnt even use the pikes unless u are going to rush(which u shouldnt)
to me flying crows are useless compared to having 2 flamethrowere or even 6 hand mortars

Re: Whats the chinesse are good at?
Flying Crow takes up seven pop (I think) and spawns out of a Wonder. They are good against massed infantry (never tried against cavalry) and buildings, but they are similar to other Chinese artillery. Personally I prefer the Japanese.
