I have quite a bit of trouble fighting ottos, so i'm just wondering, would either of these two units beat a janissary in a 1v1 combat? the ashigaru has a pretty high attack but medium hitpoints, while the sepoy has a good attack and moderate hp. I know i can just make skirmishers to counter them (gurkha, yumi) but i just want to know how well ashis or sepoys will stand against jans.

well if you can make gurkhas, why wouldnt you? they are with india, they cost less then sepoy, and are good vs infantry...

anyway i do beleive that those 2 units would fair well against a jan. 

in the long run ashi/sepoy much better.

in colonial age m not sure but i will still put my money on ashi and sepoy.

and yes dont forget ashigaru has a good card in colonila age and can also have more attack with the help of the consulate and golden pavillion.

and yes sepoy has a pretty decent attack and good hitpoints and get more hitpoints from the consulate in colonial age and can also benifit from mansabdars epoy.

umm, yea no duh, but why would sum1 advance with the mansabdar wonder to the second/third age...thats more of a 4th/5th age building. no point in spending all that cash to make a mansabdar in the first 2 ages.

yeah. i noticed the sepoy with the consulate has about 209 hp, about 30 less than the jan. plus, with the higher attack, it should about even out. :D

jan with albus will pawn both ashi and sepoy :D

why would even say that.... useless contribution to this thread... you know what, Sepoy with Howdah will pawn Jan and Abus.

 

 

Anyways hard to say, The Ashi is definitely the best Musketeer I'm pretty sure it would beat a jan 1v1, Sepoy vs Jan would be close, maybe depends who got the first shot off. Does anyone know if these 3 musks all have the same rate of fire?
