    Subject: Cavalry Upgrades for British
    I found that the British civ is one of the only ones that can get 3 card shipments to help there cavalry. 15% Def, 15% Att, and then on age 3 15% of both. Would these shipments be much better than ones for infantry due to the fact that cavalry already have so much more Def. and Att.? If you know what I'm getting at tell me what you think. thank you

    and they have the royal guard upgrade for hussars. the advanced arsenal shipment also has good hand cavalry upgrades. that's why the British have the best hussars.

    Infantry take up less population space and cost less. I would suggest at least one upgrade for both infantry and cavalry.

    many civs have 3 cavalry upgrade cards. Spain and Russia has an age 3 card that effects ALL hand cavalry, not just his lancers and hussars, as an example.

    Germany has 4 cards that offer a 45% boost for attack and defence, unlike the 30% of british, and the uhlan is also royal guard, and they have a fifth card that increases speed by 10%. Ofc the French have the bast cav because they have 3 cards, and cuirs are royal guard, and they pwn hussar and uhlan in a headon fight cost and population effectively.

    not pop effective. cuirs are 3 pop and hussars are 2 pop. sure cuirs are better but you can make more hussars. 40 cuirs vs 50 hussars curs would probably win still. but british would more than likely make redcoats as is so it doesnt matter.

    I personally find upgrade cards quite useless in supremacy games. You only get +30% of a hussar for 3 cards! If you make 60 hussars in a game you are only getting 18 more via the cards. Thats 6 hussars per card which is fairly pointless when you are in the industrial age and can send 8 (by the time you make 60 hussars you should be).

    nope... cuirassiers would win, i'm sure.

    and why would you send all those cavalry upgrade cards anyway? are u playing treaty or deathmatch?

    in normal supremacy, would be a waste of card...

    If your game goes into industrial and you only made 60 hussars, your doing something wrong.

    FU Uhlan is the best cav, cost effectively.

     

    When playing FFA as germans and you send all cards for your uhlans AND you're in imperial on great plains (for lakota training time upgrade) you can spam uhlans all day and night because they're so dirt cheap.

    i do not like the cur. because its 3 pop. i dont like the ulhan because its low hp.  but ulhans are good for raiding. and curs are pretty good formost units.

    yes but, the ulhan owns all artillary, light infantry, and villies.

    they get massive attack(100 i think)

    uhlans get 503 HP and 94 attack, thats pretty good, not to mention 7.23 speed and 8.1 with comanche.
