    Am i the only one who thinks this? I love germans and the fact that they aren't an easy civ to use.

    i would say its true except the long range morts and organ guns tilt the fight back into the favor of the port

    and cassadors and jinetes and guireos, i think if a german player wins he wil have to hold out i dont think germans beat ports straight up.

    but german eco wil definetly outlast the ports

    Portugal is easier to play than germany, I got 2.2k on my first try.

    cheesehat that is total bullshat man. I think most ppl here know that you are not good because of your unintelligent posts and your constant bragging. You did not get 2200 on your first try because you said you got 2.1 on another post. What happened to that, huh? I also thought that 2.3-2.4 was pretty much the best you can get out of the ports.

    good ports > good germany unless mistakes happen. then if germany can get into mele range with dopples and uhlans german has a chance.  but once ports gets full pop and falls back its the same over and over.  germany can counter france easier than ports so i think you see my point.

    yeah Germans don't have an easy time with the ports due to their high use of melee units. port muskets+ cassadores, jinetes and organs will destroy most German units.

    Germans are pretty cav reliant, jinetes will kill even war wagons easily if spammed. also, cassadors own doppels if protected. the eco advantage is all the germans have in their favor pretty much.

    I know that. I'm not entirely dumb. I was just pointing out the port units generally do a very good job of countering german units.

    look bub, I realize that skirms and doppels (especially doppel) are mainline german units but any noob knows that when playing against a german to keep some anti cav around since there are going to be many uhlans (from shipments) and probably some WW too. I didn't say germans were entirely cav, but cav reliant. And compared to other civs, they  do use a lot of cavlary, namely because uhlans show up with every shipment except age1 shipments.
