    But the wagon ideas, though creative, won't be implement, ES won't create new units for balance, only change existing ones.

    The cavalry Politician would be much better. No dowbt

    Wagons - It´s a shame but hey . . .it could help someone to come up with new ideas.

    • Change the House of Bragthingy [can't remember the spelling ><] to an XP trickle card. Like...2 XP/s or sth.
    • Besteiro's are excellent, but they're very hard to get. Change the upgrade to 1600 wood, and have 10 xbows given.
    • Caçadore change took out the originality of the Caçadore, they are now weaker in both HP and attack than a normal skirm. They're OK at the moment, but a little attack boost would be good imo.
    • Boost some of the ressource cards, ie, 700 food turns into 800 food. Might help them boosted a bit early game.

    House of Bragança as a unique card for Ports could be a 2 resource trickle card. Or a XP trickle card to TC making HC shipments arrive a bit faster.

    Besteiros - their price is to high. Maybe 1600 wood and 10 Xbows and a little boost to caçadores. Like the card that some civs have: Ranged Infantry, that improves Xbows and Skirms. Maybe 10% damage. Making their attack a bit closer to the devastating damage they inflicted before.

    This little boost to attack would make cassies a bit more powerful than a skirm, making them worthy of the term UNIQUE UNIT!!! 

    although I like cassies more now and use them more.

    If the change i suggested above to cassies isn´t applyed I think they could have their attack boosted to 18. It´s now 17. It´s not a big change but with the upgrades it gives imperial cassador a few more attack power. 

    A resource change (maybe a little OP) would be to give 1 extra settler just per resource card, except infinite ones.

    700 food + 1 settler . . .

    But that ain´t going to happen . . .

    Interest idea but it would not work. Creative though.

    Ports extra TC is a good bonus. It´s a GREAT bonus in treaty games and on water maps.

    TC building time must decrease.It takes to long to take advantadge of the bonus. 1m to build + 45 sec to train 1 settler.

    By the time we are spamming villies we are being rushed and they are in age III already.

    Maybe your idea could be applied to the politicians. Like the Bishop . . . 2 settlers and a wagon. A warrior bishop if it was to send a barracks. LOL

    Ports do have UP politicians. I remember the Bishop and The native one wich gives 2 scouts and native mantlets. Ports have spyglass ability. Why 2 scouts in age III. Never have I seen this politician being used. Ports always choose between Exiled Prince for faster age up or the 6 cassadors for defense.
     

    There are politicians who send a Outpost and coin. . .

    Keep posting ideas people!!! 

    I like this idea. Ports bonus would be a Wagon for 1 politician by age too.

    Only 1 can be choosen so . . . not much OP change. 

    Perhaps it could save the wood needed for Ports making archaic units and save wood for besteiros, and improve eco. 

    Age II 

     

    A change to the Bishop Politician could be 3 settlers and a Church wagon. 3 settlers could give Ports a little boost.

    The Naturist - 4 cows and a "Herd" wagon 

    The 400 wood guy could be a dock/barracks/stable.

    500 food and a mill Wagon 

    Age III 

    The Native Politician Ports should be replaced by the one that gives Hussars or Native Politician and The Native embassy or salloon.

    6 cassador and Arsenal wagon. 

    Admiral - 1 caravel, 200 - 300 wood instead of 400 and a dock wagon.

    Age IV 

    The Tycoon guy could give  a plantation wagon, since Banks are dutch only. But a bank wagon  would be awsome.

    10 Musketeer Guy - A Fort wagon that could only build if you lost one of the forts. Some other wagon? 

    2000 Gold - 2000 Gold and perhaps now a Bank Wagon or another Plantation?

     

    This would make Ports much more fun to play and attract more players that are bored with all japan, india, french and brittish civs. 

    You´re right it would make Ports more fun to play.

    I do like some of the wagons per politician. They are kinda logic.

    Like the ones from the Age II

    The admiral giving 1 dock.

    Native guy giving the native embassy 

    The 2 organ politician could give artillery foundry wagon.

     

    ES won´t do this but still it´s creative, maybe they can apply some of these thoughts to a few politicians, to all civs who have them.

    2 organs should be changed to three organs. But imo, the Indus polits are fine. Polits in general are fine for Ports.

    Ports just need to get their early land game better, without making the water gameplay OP.

    KK, I have some serious suggestions now people...

    1. Let the Ports start with 250 XP, like other civs do on Ceylon. This would let them send the shipment of their choice very early on and would either boost their eco or let them get Colonial Militia quickly.
    2. Following this new change the Ports should also be able to get Medicine in Discovery, which would probably break even against 2 settlers by the creation of 14 more villagers and 3 settlers from the creation of 20. Either way it would provide a better opportunity for a boom and makes the FF/early game stronger.
    3. In the Colonial Age, the Portuguese can get a 3 Dragoons shipment, which would help fend off cav raids very quickly. Perhaps this could be merged with Team Early Dragoons if the Team part was removed?
    4. Town Centres for the Ports will provide an XP trickle, something like 0.6-0.8 per sec.

    Are these good suggestions?

    Maybe if Medicine card could decrease villager training time 20% instead of 15% and reduce the cost of vills to 75/80 food could be helpful, it would allow portuguese to make military as well spamming villies.

    i get the feeling this would make them op by itslef...

    i dont know how much starting foo ports get, but if this is first card sent, you could have 99 vills by 30 mins lol!
