Russians are awesome at rushing, have a cheap army, and have a lot of cool attributes. (Musketeers building forts + Strelets becoming Musketeers = Totally awesome!)

The entire reason for Russia's being in the game is that they have weak units in large numbers! Of course Russian units suck individually. (Except some cavalry and artillery.) That's the entire point! I have played against Russia a few times, and they are quite tough to beat.

Um.. the upgrades for every unit are like 30% HP and ttack. Something liek that. THey dont offset the upgrades to make russian units better. 

But they are still super cheap and easy to mass, especially because of instant infantry. 

Which in turn is why Russia is so good for treaty.

late game russia sucks tho

1- you usually rush or have a deck set to rush so if you dont have the game over quick you get usually wrecked

2-Cav archers,  Imo they suck bad, no hit and run so even tho they get the bonus against cav a dragoon i usually find last longer

3-One Factory, so even if you max out pop your still gonna be behind in eco

I personally love when a russian puts up 2 or 3 block houses with instant infantry and my cuirassiers take out 100 strelets to their 25

1. Russians has 2 factories (at least in TAD).

2. Russians have best Raiding abilities with Oprichnik and card which increasing siege damage for musketeers. In fact I don't know any other means of fast raiding for any other civilization other then Russians becouse of Oprichnik.

3. Cruissair is wortheless with instant musketeers, by the time you are done with first batch Russian have second batch ready with no delay.

Yes forgot about it. I just found it hard to keep producing Gendarmes becouse of their high cost if all Russians will be producing is anti-cavalry units.

and id take my chances with cuirs over tartars anyday.  Fully upgraded with all cards from hc and and arsenal and theres nothing i wouldnt send cuirs at(as noobish as that is, its works)

im a noob member (2nd lt)  and i have seen higher ranks use russia amazingly well and **** with it.

when boomed right 2.1k is very probable, wood isnt usually a prob and there military when used right is excellent.

i mentioned im only a 2nd lt. and ive play with people from my ranks up to pr 38 and regularly with captians.

be fair- dont sell ur words as gold and let some new person learn the wrong thing

ive beat french players 1v1 easily bcuz all they tried to do was spam curriers.

that proves ur noobiness

i was implying that i was new in the forums i have around 510 games i beleive 

and as soon as you through some voltigers behind the cuirs tartars will go down quick and with the area effect of the cuir hits take down halbs quick  especialy with skirms there. im saying 20 cuirs and maybe 30 skims and maybe a cannon

if u use all ur units and counter russia is devasting

it is true for all civs-

but at lower ranks u like to cry "OP!!!" cuz u dont know how to play.

i have beaten 2 french players who are currently 1st lt. 1v1 with russia.

they are very good players.

ur options arent limited if u use all ur units.
