the new mod won't catch on if they don't rethink some of these units and civs. Take the pirates for example and the corsair units with the ridiculous cannons.
this civ could rip a new one into our current france (which is op).
Some of the ideas of this mod are great, but they definitely are going to need to rethink some of the things that are in it.
It would help if RE made it official, but I'm not sure if they can for legal reasons, etc.
maybe they already have rethought this stuff. and like they said they are going to change stats of units, etc. so there shouldnt really b any problems if theyre testing and balancing it already.

will you try and play it? The more top players we get, the more influence it could have. Even if it's not perfect, THAT can easily be patched until it's close.

i say the new civs are ok Pirates have the right units and so on so fourth what we are doing is finishing the new civs and then we can start balancing right now there just prebalanced for beta testing. right now im working on more tanslations so when we beta test if the testers c any mistakes they tell me for i can fix and o yes 2 civs are now balanced and the demo well be out for 2 civs in 2 weeks

DragonShooter: Gomz3454:I'm sorry, but this, like all other mods before will only have a small community using it. Anyone remember the Napoleonic Era? This new mod will not in anyway revive the community. In fact it may divide. The only thing that will revive the AoE community is a new AoE game made by RE. Simple as that.Still it will be the players choice whether he choices to use this mod or not. I'll say it does look pretty nice but I can promise you're going to achieve some level of disappointment when it comes out, whether it's a ton of bugs or the fact that only 20 players are actually using it.
-1 dude this is a different mod then the napoleanic era ok the napoleanic era is not even finished thats y no1 uses it and you are jugding something that has not even come out so most ppl like the ideas of the mod and it will help the community grow when ppl like to use the old civilzations and new ones it will grow strong for now it will be Treaty. then in later versions it will be rush available for all users can play
Ok I might be wrong when this comes out, but history does have tendency to repeat itself and this mod is not entirely different from Napoleonic Wars or any other mod. @ Hidan other mods had new civs as well. Anyway I never said I hated it so no one should be acting defensive I'm just speaking the truth. I have never seen or heard of any successful 3rd party mod on this game. It looks nice, but I'm just saying...

@ragbag Your rank is the same rank like in TAD then in the Mod. We cant create a new rating ladder, because you need an own server for this. @Hidan Yeah the Egypt are very cool and pretty !

The GNRC Rating supports THE FORGOTTEN EMPIRES modification completely! Including units, buildings and player statistics!

Hello everybody,
the Global No Rush Community proudly presents the Demo Version of our Age of Empires III TAD modification THE FORGOTTEN EMPIRES.
This Demo Version includes 2 of 22 nations. The well-known Portuguese and the Pirates! The Forgotten Empires Demo is only playable in a multiplayer game versus human players! It's only balanced for No Rush 40 + games! You need to have the two expansion packs The Warchiefs and The Asian Dynasties installed. It is important to create a new Homecity of the Mediterranean Federation, in which you can create a deck for the pirates. We spread this demo out with a simple install and uninstall programm and with an easy Mod Enabler to activate or to deactivate the TFE Demo.
TFE will be released with a revolutionary new "Civ choosing" system. Pregame discussions about which player gets which nation will no longer exist. Exploring the map and knowing the the enemy is more important than before. Our new "Age Up System" creates more variety between the players. New units, buildings, technologies and maps are included. Every new nations got its own new features and abilities! It was not our aim to remake the existing civs, technologies etc.. Examine this mod as you would do it with every other "new game". The old Age exists, but it has been enhanced extremely by us. We offer every player the possibility to play our new nations or the old ones! Everybody gets one's money's worth.
After having installed this TFE Demo you only have to start the desktop shortcut and move the demo from the left side to the right side, than start the game and enjoy. After playing The Forgotten Empires move the Demo from the right side to the left side, close the Mod Enabler and run Age of Empire III.
