Equipment wise the knght wins, yet you do not win a battle with what you have on. It is the skill and what your equipment allows you to do. The Samurai in full armor was a lot more motile then the Knight in full armor and then you can take it from there.

It is like a tank and a person with a the detnator to an IED that is directly in the path of that IED. IF the tank can find out that it is going to cross the path of one or knows where the detnator is then maybe they have a chance. Just because you have armor and big "gun/sword" does not allow you to win. The bigger the gun or sword the harder to control. The more or the heavier the armor is then there is less motility.

What types of fighting arts you are taught also go into consideration.

P.S. any one person who feels the Samurai is less motile then the Knight is truely obsurd and should go cry in a hole.

Or i have a good what if the knight was wearing a lighter aromor such as chain mail which is quit good actually to resist sword blast plus it is more mobile and knights ahve skills also they weren't jsut sword swingers they learned from the bizitiniums fighting style and old ancient ways to be fight but also the samuri had good skills to so it might be a draw if they were bot about 25 and were both masters of all there types of sword skills.

OK, ok i quit. If i see something new here then i will respond. Listen i know that knights were  experts at what they did. I am not stupid, i just took what i recieved form The TV and then a little researching and well what ever. That is why the knight was phased out before the samurai. :P

If the Samurai gets a bow,

Then the knight gets a Venetian Crossbow.

LOL really really. Also If it is a battle between knights and sams. Knights will also bring ranged weapons like xbows or longbows. They never invaded by their own, like sams.

Why is there a period after sams? Their? You mean they??This post has such bad grammar I can't decipher it.

    Anyone else care to?

    It's still unreadable..

It might have some logic behind it, but it lacks the rhetoric.
