definitely. I liked AOE2 but its graphics isn't as good as AOE3 so hopefully you guys get it working!

 And to check once installed, you can still revert back to the original AOE3 (non mod stuff) by just changing folder names so you don't need to install/uninstall everytime you want to do so?

 I just now took a look at this thread, skipped over quite a bit, but this looks fantastic. How do you plan for the mod to work?

Wow, I see I haven't been around here for quite some time, really...

@elixir: I hope you won't be disapointed in K&B, but it won't be exactly an AoE2 remake. There are some overlapping civs, but the gameplay will be most like AoE3, with HC's, a Knight taking up the role of the Explorer, and infinite resource farming.

As you've most probably not seen the list of civs that will be in K&B:

Byzantines, Mongols, Spanish, Vikings, English, Italians (Venice), French, Moravians, Arabians (Saracens), Moors, Turks, Flemish, Germans (HRE) and Crusaders (Kingdom of Jerusalem)

However, the first release, called Knights and Barbarians Prologue, will only contain the Byzantines, Arabians, Turks and Crusaders. You guessed it, the Prologue's theme will be the Crusades.

Wait this is like the Fan Patch right, you patch your AOE3 game, can play Knights and Barbs online using ESO, gain Pr using Eso...

I don't completely understand this, some random idiot decides to revive a year-old thread and now it is suddenly active again. The website isn't even a valid address.

Well, what we're basically doing is edit the game, so that sadly enough it can no longer be played online, but the single player part of the game will be changed completely.
