    micro is short for micromanagement

    like taking enough skirms to kill a musket in one volley and haveing them attk one and doing this with all your skirms

    or putting your pikes attking cav and skirms attacking heavy inf in a big battle

    also there is hit and run where you take fast units and run in shot one volley and run back before they can fight back and repeat over and over
