Japanese villagers use bows to attack, while everyone else uses guns...

Actually, none of the natives use guns... Smile

    They use Spears Wink

    Europeans use gunz

India uses guns Stick out tongue

    China uses gunz

Japanese get ashigaru, cherokee use guns, very few natives use spears, euros can use x-bow and lbow, india only uses guns, china gets chu ko nu's, so I am going to say that supacrunk is the most reliable source here

    another fact

shogun tokugawa can slay a cannon, 2 horses, and the person firing a cannon with 1 swipe of his sword in the imperial age (horse artillery)

    Maya, Zapotecs uses melee weapons

No, No, ppl, I meant the Japanese VILLAGERS dont use a gun to attack like the other peeps. Now i see natives dont either, but natives have a reason why not to use it. For Japan, theres no excuse...

And btw the Matrix Train was pretty funny...

I know what u talkin about

    Red-Commie:
When units die they just dissapeer, instead of rotting away.

I remember an old RPG series where you would see a dead body then one with worms then a skeleton and then finally nothing. And if you were curious enough to examine a rotting corpse you might catch plague.

    Metis:
"It takes half a second for a musketeer to load his musket, as in reality, it takes 30 seconds."

As Metis says, in terms of gameplay time, this is almost a completely accurate reloading time. Maybe out by half a second, but meh.

That wasn’t me that originally said this but in reference to the poster who was curious as to real time versus game time it might be calculated by determining the ratio of the actual firing rate of the average musketeer to the time it takes for one to load and fire in the game.

Sorry for using quotation marks instead of the quote function and thus adding to some confusion here.

No prob, i just couldnt be bothered to find the original post Wink

And yeah ur probaby right about the correlation between reloading times and game time, but this is certainly a new step from AoK, where a second was the equivalent to a year Stick out tongue Then again, there were three gun units in the entire game, idk.

Yeah, that was my post. I just made an educated guess of the real life loading times.

You know,.........A rifleman in the American Revolutionary War reloaded much slower than a musketeer, but I'm not sure how that is in the game. However, Civil War riflemen could reload faster than colonial musketeers. So a skirmisher is thus justified to reload slower or faster than a musketeer in the game.

A mighty fort can be completely taken down in seconds with about 20 men throwing flaming sticks at it.

A ronin has more seige attack than a grenadier even though ronin throw flaming sticks at buildings and grenadiers throw exploding grenades.
