I know, but this thread has been off topic on several occasions,  and we're posting useful stuff.

Ok, well dm is very different from tr because in dm you don't have time to train enough skirmishers to beat a ranged cav rush 1 minute in. Hence why germany/WW are so op in dm.

i never play rush ever (2 games my whole time on aoe and 1 i lost and i played another like 5 min ago and won) but when i did i didnt have time for *** (i was dutch). the guy i played was conscript like me (but i think faking idk) but man u have to be fierce in there. i was just playin you know and bam uhlans in my base "killin my dues". if it wasnt for ryteers, skrims and arty i would have died. it was intense. several times if he just pushed hed have won but he let me get enough military in a good formation that when i asked for 10 min treaty and he agreesd and attacked like 2 min in cause all he did was build military that it was destoryed by genadiers, falconets, ryteers and skirms and i had halbs in his base with skirms after i killed it and he was like gg and quit. but i get why ww op, halbs and pike cant kill it or dragoons so need skirms. he as germany made ww but a little late so i have like 15 skirms that killed his 3 ww

Not 75%, just the majority of your army (majority doesn't have to be a huge number).

I can't answer these questions, this game is not hard to figure out, and isn't this sophisticated to where everything is figured down into percentages.

Also just to clarify, when I said 50/50 Sepoy Gurkha, doesn't mean 50%/50% of your whole army. Just the skirm part of it.

no, not hard really but i find german army small so thats what makes it hard to me. france i have no questions, brits no questions, maybe for ports because their eco but just germany i have issues with *shrug* sorry if it sound noob ish but germans confuse me. maybe i dont delete enough settlers? i delete to 70 or 80 normal settlers and the 20 settler wagons

MU=matchup, so the specific civ matchup such as german v france.

And it sounds like you aren't deleting quite enough vills unless you're using andes natives. I usually go down to 70-80 total, or 90 if I'm planning to use natives so I can build up some eco while I drain my opp a bit. Always delete regular vills though, and only gather from mills with wagons, they have a bigger gathering boost on mills than other res (I think wood is better than hunts though, but the main consideration in early game is minimizing their walk time)

@Thranduil81 thatd leave like 40 normals settlers on coin, thats not enough i dont think? stormcoming maybe said i think only 15 settler wagons on food rest pop on gold so 50 on coin and 30 on food, thats fine? i guess i can test this all out, thansk for the advice :D. oh and the mill thing i think so because since they have less base upgrades the 35% artisan card does more for it (i think anyway) and yea wood is the best.

no, you just make minutemen and then delete and rebuild tc, then make more minutemen. then you have 10,000 minutemen and win the game with a giant army that is far larger then your enemies. nothing can stop this tactical strategy!

any unit that has any amount of area attack would crush that. hell just having 8 culvs as standard would kil that.

I think I am going to commit suicide by seeing people's ignorance and arrogance who are actually don't know things properly.
Hussar is a light cavalry unit. Cuiraseer is heavy cavalry. Pikemen is light INF and halberdier is heavy INF. And so on.
I just tested in scenario editor. I used 10 pikes against 5 war wagons. Testing difficulty was expert(idk if that matters). Just 1 wagon was left with 180 hitpoints in one test. In the other case 1 pikeman survived(attacked wisely). Pikemen can be used against war wagons(WWs are cavalry units). Pikemen have 5x bonus damage against cavalry. They are also cheap. Doesn't look like micro management will contribute in winning(If you know what i mean in a real match). I am just talking about pikemen vs war wagons. Don't know about WWs much.
If they can be upgraded too much then pikemen would not be this efficient, cause pikes can be upgraded up to just veteran level for most civs except Spanish(or more civs, don't know).

In TAD, all hand cav are heavy cavalry, skirms are infantry, musks are heavy infantry, dragoons are light cavalry, and things like rattan shields, coyote runners, disciples etc are light infantry.

Who says that ? Does some info in the game or .pdf manual of TAD says that ? The info in TAD still shows hussar as light cavalry.

Thats what the thing is. Where did you got your information that all hand cavalry are heavy cavalry units in TAD ? Did the makers of the game told u that ?

PS : Its not just scrolling over the icons, I read the history section in 'Help and Tools' to understand the game when i first installed it.

I remember some tooltip saying hussars are "light cavalry armed with cold steel". How can you trust that they are heavy cavalry when you can't be sure if their steel is cold?

 You should bang your head on walls. Do your homework first. Idiot. People, here, are just making their own stuff up. Even in TAD hussar is a light cavalry unit.
