1.  It's not finished.  There will be 8 new civs and rebalancing, along with some new maps.

2.  They make english betas, playing in German is not easy when you don't speak it ;).

3.  Tbh, idc.

4.  It's there choice, but I still don't care.

Aside from Germany being part of the holy roman empire?  Ok, how about Unction?  Because as we all know, historically, spanish missionaries were the key to military expeditions.  Also, what about fire pits?  There are plenty of things in these games that aren't historic.  How about the fact that Portugal and Spain were no longer really world powers a short while after their ventures in Mexico and the countries south of it?

1. The main informations you can get in the first post of this thread. We will realease new mod desription soon in this forum and in ur forum. We are nearly done anyway, the new civs are done, we are just working on implementing the old civs and fixing bugs. Unfortunately our team is really involved at university until the end of december. We hope to realease the final beta version 0.9 at christmas, but 1.0 will be ready next year.

2. Yes we are releasing in english and german. If we find translators we can release in every language you want.

3. I think it is impossible. Need to look ate the quicksearch file again, but i am sure that the search criteria is hardcoded so that we cant change. You won't find enemies anway, because there will be only a couple of players to use our mod at the same time... well, i try to do this, but  i am sure it does not work.

Well this game is called the Ages of Empires the Age of Discovery. Any Civilization that ginas land out side of there main country is considered an empire but age 3 focuses on the Main Civilizations

 Age of empires 3:Focuses on European Colonization in the Americans,Latin America,and unfortunately  Africa.

Age of Empires War Chiefs: Focuses on the 3 main American natives

Iroquois Nation wa splits into 2 because some of there people where helping the British and the Americans/Rebels during the American Revolution.

Lokata(Sioux) : AOE3 went kinda off there time period Scale but there Lokata we more focusing on the Alliance of Gall and another native civilization,in the Battle of Little Big Horn

Aztecs: Focuses with Spain and Aztecs by Spain Conquering them etc through diplomacy and war.

Ages of Empires 3: The Asian Dynasties : Focuses on the 3 Asian Civilizations

Japan:During the time period of the game was when japan was a growing  Empire.

India: Focuses on There rebellion against the British empire which there where not truly independent until the end of world war 2.

 As for missionary's were worth while for spain for going on missions and creating and colonizing of towns for spain.

 Fire Pit is very accurate because  f the dances that natives do to there gods 

and just for germany not called the Holy Roman Empire was becuase that was a Medieval thing. and they may have wanted to call Germany to be called Germany because more people are familiar with that name.

AoE4, interesting, if we believe you.

I'm glad at least nobody shouted me down. I know AoE3 was unrealistic. The campaigns contained fictional characters and situatons, for the most part, but some of them were an attempt to describe what was really going on then. Singleplayer isn't a waste of time (especially for people like me with dialup!), it's just most AoE3 players you interact with play online.

I would play your mod, because I like mods, but there are others I prefer.
