What rank are you? Merely 3 months ago I would see a lot of captain-hosted 1v1s and team games. In Quick Search I often got majors and Lt Colonels, when I had a lot of my friends on we'd play 3v3s (these players were all Colonel and above). I am curious as how you think there are no good players left. When I say good players, I do not mean people like samwise, flooky n such. I mean players who have a good understanding of the game, who are consistently using their civs/strats/decks in the most optimal way. This year I have played with, against, and seen in observer games players who can do this. Darwin, mikawanosika, b4rbyx, gitfed, veni, gangsta, Soul, ivan, MOMO, etc. are all examples.
