Re: < < Scenario Design - Question Thread > >
I'm still here Ivan!
It's usually due to a symbol..That is..In your objectives..Did you use an " ":"
Check your overlay text effect..Is there a symbol?
In a modify protounit effect..The use of an +..In any of the fields..
In a set tech status effect, Did you put two different ages for the same civ?.That is Age0 ottomans and age 0spc act2..Mixing two age/techs can cause things to not load..
If you made any recent changes..Re-trace all steps you've made..It's usually something very small and easy to over look!

From the last point that they worked..Did you make any trigger changes?
The only other thing I can think of is..Try going out of the game..Then go back in and re-load the scenerio again..

yes I did... I added tons of cinematics. Also, I added 2 "message" triggers, in 1 of them I used : After I play tested scenario, no trigger worked, so i thought that the messages got the fault, and I deleted both triggers. However the problem continues...

Ok.
Re-trace all your cinematic triggers..Did you make sure to turn your cinematic mode to off?.
I suggest you get rid of those cinematic triggers and see if things work again..I'm thinking that the cinematic is the culprit..If that is the case..I suggest you go to the wiki and read all you can about cinematics..I don't use these things..They as you now know can mess up a good scenerio.
It was posted before..That it is best to make your cinematics seperate from the scenerio itself..It is to my understanding that after you turn the cinematic off you can fire a trigger and use the load scenerio effect..If you don't have this effect already.. You can copy the code into your typetest.xml for the version of the game you're using..It is in the nine most asked thread and the modding thread..That's probably on page two or three of this category..I'm pretty sure that it was posted in here but with all these pages..It will take forever to locate..

All that I can offer you now is.. Remove the triggers for the cinematics..Then..Get out of the game..Then..Go back in and re-load the scenerio..See if your triggers will work again..Then..If they do..You'll at least know which trigger is the culprit..If these cinematics are really needed for the scenerio..Try to reconstruct them..If that causes your trigger problem again..You may need to re-think your sequence..It may be best to post in the tips and tricks thread for on-line scenerios..Moshe is your guy..Maybe he can shed some light on this..I'm not familiar with user controls..As far as the cinematic itself..I've posted you all my knowledge in my last post.
