in AOC there was alot of tournaments, never really much in the start of it except for WCG ( World clan games), lreland doesnt have qualifying for it but england does, you'd have to fly over and try and win and come 1st to get a free trip to seoul, south korea....

Other than that many clans in aoc held tournies in the last few years and Legion (L_Clan_) arbalet put about $100,000+ for 4 major tournies and about 8 little one's to the public, fantastic man. The final installation of WCL (World Clan League) is running at the moment (www.thelegionclan.com) with about 25k USD in prizes for 1-8th placed clans. Plus the final 2 clans are flown free to Almaty, KZ for a week for the finals on a LAN, brought snow skiing while we there etc :) its great, i get a free trip cause im a WCL council member.

Anyway when WCL 4 is finished and everyone left in AOC moves into AOE3 Arbalet (murat) from Legion clan will be sponsoring big big clan tournies in AOE3, he has already confirmed it and this guy is true to his word, he owns a big big amusement park like Six Flags in the states or Alton Towers in England so hes the money to put forward no problem.....

While not an "offcial" tournament, PDXLAN ( http://www.pdxlan.com ) is hosting a AOE3 tournament in Feb - (Along with a few others)

PDXLAN is a 500 person LAN with about 70k in prizes - currently there are already 300+ paid, and another 220 people not paid - so if you want in, reg and pay soon. PDXLAN is the largest LAN West of Texas.

The event is in Portland, Oregon. People from Europe do travel to come to it... so its all a matter of your pocket book.

The prize is looking to be a 7800GT or a Extreme Edition from Intel.

AOE Team- if you are interested in being a part of this LAN, you have my email.
