Lol exactly my situation, only that I barely know anything about comps, so I barely know terms like those IE(Dunno what it means or stands for), textfield(Same).
Well, IE means internet explore (made by microsoft), and textfield simply means a field in which you enter text (in other words the box that you type in, even though that is multi-line, so its technically a textarea)

Yes, I use Internet Explorer 7, only because it is preloaded on Vista, otherwise I'd probably use firefox (because IE7 has some annoying defaults you can't change, IE6 is insecure, and firefox is just plain better - why? because it is an internet browser made by someone other than microsoftBig Smile). I think we should say no more about this, as we may be getting off topic.

if your getting low on food or coin you dont have to build a new building to put more units on one resorce. 75 vil's is the only big prob I have seen w/ the Japs.

Fine on Honshu, but most people don't like playing on water maps.

I think you actually brought up the biggest weakness of Japan in another thread here:

Lack of training speed improvements/techs.  Late game Japan is at a serious tempo disadvantage vs all fhe "old" civs.  I sure hope China and/or India have training time techs, or the asians are not going to fare well in very long games.

Yes, that is a huge weakness, but I have unlocked (hacked - vistit my post to see how) the dutch as a consulate ally for Japan in skirmish, and they do get a church wagon where you can research fast cav and faster infantry among other things. But you are right, I did say that that is the biggest weakness of the Japanese. I couldn't steam roll the expert computer in treaty, which I could do with sioux (who are crappy in treaty). They need a faster training tech. The shogunate wonder is just not enough.
