Re: Help!
ES_Yeti:First, uninstall all trial versions of the game that you have installed (if any)...
*******************************************************************
Then, follow these instructions exactly:Download and then run the Microsoft Windows Installer application installation and configuration service
--- Note: The file you will download there is named: WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe
*******************************************************************
Then, after that installation concludes, download and then run the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
--- Note: The file you will download there is named: msicuu2.exe
*******************************************************************
After installing, first click the "Windows Install Clean Up" shortcut, then select the game you are having trouble installing/uninstalling/reinstalling (either "Age of Empires III" or "Age of Empires III - The War Chiefs"), then click "Remove"...
*******************************************************************--- After you complete that, temporarily disable any/all anti-virus/firewall/anti-spyware software running on your system, then try to reinstall...

Re: Help!
Use the link on this page, Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, just above the Readme.txt file contents to download the msicuu2.exe file. And, if you read that section with the Readme.txt contents you would find the instructions on running the tool.

Re: Failed to load DLL: Firewall Install Helper ( I know what ES_Yeti said)
just try:
Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
When open look for Age Of Empires Warchiefs or else select and choose remove,
now exit and try reinstalling the game again

Re: Failed to load DLL: Firewall Install Helper ( I know what ES_Yeti said)
I signed up on this forum just to figure out this problem. I downloaded that file, but when i tried to run the .exe it says i don't have enough file space to install it. I have 120+ GB free! Someone please help me! I want to play TWC (its the full version, not the demo), but right now its taking up 17GB of space without even being installed. I'm probably not even going to reinstall it after, I dont wanna run into this problem again. EDIT: actually, I have window's Vista, and i tried to use both files. When i ran the first file suggested, I recieved the above message. When i tried to run the file ES_Yeti suggested, I got the following message: Script: C:\Users\Jacob\AppData\Local\Temp\IXP003.TMP\StartMsi.vbs Line: 17 Char: 1 Error: Permission Denied Code: 800A0046 Source: Microsoft VBScript runtime error
I just typed that in word for word, line for line, cap for cap, from that box. One odd thing I noticed is that the file wasn't downloaded then opened, it was saved, so it shouldn't be in 'Temp'. When i looked at the folder in which is should have saved, it was there. I dont know why the box said it was in temp...
