But as someone posted before, the pop. limit would be amazing, to really get the scale of the war right. Someone mentioned Total War and they were exactly right. The Total War games are awesome, although AOE is more fun.

Plus they would have no problem balancing adding tanks and planes, the "War Wagon" is similar to a tank, so they already know how to pull it off.

Population limit should be at least 500 for a World Wars game, maybe more.

I think the unuits are gonna be like; 

Rifleman(skimisher) Upgrades; (i don't know the names though) 1. Gives thee Rifleman more hitpoints(bodyarmr), shoots faster(semi automatike rifle) 2.Gives him a assault rifle(M16 wetern people Ak47 Communist) , & improved body armor 3. give him a new jamless rifle ( Hk416 west Ak74 east) 

Submachine Gunner(Mustketter) Upgrades 1.Machine Gunner gives him a a aotumatic rifle, more hitpoints. 2. Portable Gunner gives him a squad aoutmatic weapon 3. Hi-Tech Gunner gives him a new set of adcaned electronics & protection systems. improved hitpoibnts accuracy,  attack

Light tank(fast ligt armor),  Medium tank, (multipospose)Heavy tank(slow lots of htiponts huge attack)

Artillery

Portable Mortar (40 range good against all units except tanks)

Howitzer(120 range good against all units)

Anti tank gun(20 range good aginsts tanks)

Rocket Launcher( good against infantry,limited effectiveness against tanks, can be upgraded to work against tanks)

i skipped WW1 cause in AOE3 we are already in Imperial Age. besides who want's to recreate BORING trench warfare & chrages' which ALWAYS ENDS IN SLAUGTER.

I did the russian,otto mix cause well i don't know, skip that part.

The states willl be like a british,dutch mix cause it's rich muskets & skirms

the last 3 countries would be from the Korean War, Iraq War, & The war in Afgansitan.for the campains.

AoE IV should definitely cover Africa in the late 1800s. WWI introduced many new technologies, so it might as well be a game on its own. Trench warfare, boring? It's just as deadly as any other form of warfare, and war always involves slaughter of various kinds, so a WWI game would be just as good as a WWII game if not better, since there are so few games out there which are about WWI.

I remember when AOE 3 was debated hotly during AOC, people would say it will never come out because of musketeers and crap like that. They were semi-right, it did take 5 years to come out but you have to remember, ES was making AOM/AOT but now look, AOE 3 + 2 xpacks.....they were wrong in the end.

So I predict that AOE 4 will be around 2010.
