    2. Im a level 80 dutch and have never heart of capitalism...am i missing something as an imperial upgrade??

    3. excessive taxation just an increase in coin production not addition banks.

    So im guessing the limit in regular aoe is still just 8....if its 10 please tell me how i can get capitalism. 


     

    vanilla is the original AoE 3, it's the same idea as ice cream flavors, you know how vanillas the "standard" or "original" flavor? Well same concept applies here 

    Capitalism is an upgrade for the Capitol in TWC and TAD only, in vanilla (original) AoE 3 it is not researchable, as it doesn't exist yet.

    Yes, the regular limit is 8 banks.

    when you get to imperial and build a capitol, instead of the upgrade (costs 1000 food 1000 wood) increasing gold gathering from all sources, it allows you to build 2 extra banks.

     That is what mr milo is talking about that gives you 10 banks in vanilla.

    That sucks! If coin production increases by 50% for other civs, why do the Dutch only get a 25% or even less benefit? This should let them build 4 banks, or alternatively 2 extra banks and a stock market which can set banks to consume a resource and produce coin even faster. Depending on how much u use this benefit, the trade-off becomes worse (like a market)

    dutch cannot get 10 banks in vanilla, that upgrade in capitol(cant remember name) gives dutch 50%faster coin gathering. The feature 2 extra banks was added in Twc.

    Um, in TAD and TWC I think it both increases their coin gather by 50% and their bank limit by 2. Wait, I just answered my own question from a previous post. Woohoo, closure!

    how much coin does a bank gather / second anyway, compared to other methods of gathering?

    I've never found it to be that significant.

    I've never found it to be that significant. 

    A bank gathers at a rate of 4.333 villagers per second without upgrades I think.
