I just wish I could have kept the janissary mod as well, but the differences between original age of empires 3 and the expansions made this impossible for compatibility reasons.

no, and all the possible OOS were fixed by patchs done in the file, to see em all click here.

P.S. xentelian, why did you copied the image I taken in scenario editor and posted here to your website? 

I havent got any problem with that :P. But at least you could tell me that you would do that...

i downloaded the tool tip mod (the advanced info one) and it not only gave me more info about my units, but it also translated the whole game into English!

I finnaly got rid of the horrible translation they made to Portuguese, where some texts got so big that they didn't fit on the spaces for them letting out important info.

like when someone is doing trade monopoly, i couldn't see how much time was left...

now the only thing left in Portuguese are taunts and AI voices, that BTW, were very badly done, looks like the actors were either about to sleep or sick, maybe both...

Иван Грозный, I took your picture (sorry I did not ask first and thank you) because you actually noted which changes in those specific units. It was so long ago since Matthew and I did them I could not remember all of which were the changes from the originals. I would have had to go through all the anim files I made and compare with the ES default to be sure. Some were colonial, some were imperial, some ES just did not include but had the textures, etc Maybe one of these days I will have one picture showing all of them, but yours does that job very well.

Hagop, The shadow_selections and units folders you extracted from my modpack go into

c:\program files\microsoft games\age of empires III\art

You should definitely have an art subfolder, as all of the art in the game is in art1.bar, art2.bar, etc within that folder. It has to be there as it is part of the game installations.

you're looking at the wrong folder, that one contains data like saved games, homecities.

the one you want is the one with game data, it is on(as said before)

C:\Progam files(this folder name may vary depending on your language)\Microsoft games\Age of Empires III\art

it's not on the my docs folder
