101 losing streak? wtf how u do that? I was sad cuz i was in a 2 losing streak, and a 7 losing streak....lol

You should try out Ports. There are very few strats for them since very few people really play them. They are fun and very unique. And they do have the best water boom in the game imo.

2 for spain, 2 for ottos, 1 for ports, like 1/2 for dutch (was mentioned).

Spain and otto are both pretty good civ's, but if it comes to a tie, i'll probably go otto, just because spain is similar to france. Also, I wouldn't mind trying out ports, but I'm trying not to make any decisions here, I'm letting you decide!

Try the dutch cause they are freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have banks which are way eaiser to defend than vills 150 military pop which is amazing the best counters for calvary (halbierd and ruyter combo) and have the best improvements for the skirmisher in the game (cards and that stuff). If I didn't convice you already then there is one more reason why the dutch are awesome it is just one word it is called the envoy a good scout that you can acuatually get more of the only civ that can get more scouts is the spanish (war dogs) but they suck........ only hand infantry no LI which is bad... and the lancers which are the counter for LI cost 2 pop  compared to the skirmisher 1

I was and still am a huge French player. When i decided to play a new Civ i tried out the Germans first because they get the settler wagons which a similar to the French Settler as far as increase HP and increase gathering rate. But i did not end up liking them and the next Civ i tried was the ottos and they i must say are an interesting civ. But in the end i still only play French online. If you wanna try another Civ ottos is my vote. If not then try Russia. I do not recommend the Germans unless you want to spend some time learning how to play them well.

so it looks like i'll be doing ottos.

2 for spain 3 for ottos 1 for ports 1/2 for dutch

Ottos do seem like a fun civ to play as, as i've played with and against them, and noticed that their abus guns are slightly OP in age 2

Yeah they are very good, Ruyters are very strong and only cost 1 pop, they got a great bank boom and maybe the best navy.

I'd say Ottos. They can do Tufanci FF, Spahi FF ,or a colonial rush

I've made a otto hc and started working on basic jan rushes, and moved on to jan + abus, I found a really nice guide by sephiroth on heaven games, and thats helped me a lot.

I also have TAD so if anyone wants to recommend a specific euro civ, because the TAD ones will keep changing in the patches, and I want a civ that wont keep changing, nor do I want a ridiculously OP civ (india, japan) so I can actually get games and my civ wont get nerfed in the next update.

So far it's still mostly ottos, and I will play vanilla every now and then if I get angry at TAD (I don't have TWC so I can't see as many games.)
