    Is the disc scratched?

     

    Your inability to load a specific file from the disk leads me to believe that the disk is scratched.

    (I'm still thinking of deserting Microsoft after this.  On a Mac there wouldn't be any issues of the sort.  Their software and hardware work 1000x more flawlessly than windows.) 

    • For God's sake, that wasn't Micro$ofts fault... it was your Firewalls.
    • Macs only work in Anctartica, otherwise they overheat :P
    • Macs run Microsoft products worse than Windows, and Windows runs Mac programs fine! Even right now I'm using a Mac product (Apple Safari, similar to IE).
