RE doesnt need to justify a perma-ban on a player theyve found to have made a breach of the terms set out in the terms of service. Ignorance of these terms cannot be an excuse, and these forums arent created to persuade an ajudication process based on some poll or community opinion.

besides the kerkumus issue theres also just the banning issue as a whole. i think their policy is way to strict and will (if it hasnt already) result in many bans of innocent people. check out the results of that poll btw. i know i only just made it so its not a huge sample, but u get the idea.

If you people really feel it necessary, everyone of you should write a letter to Microsoft saying that RE is an evil, corrupt company. no one said anything about RE being a bad company. we just think that some of the rules are to strict and that they need to look deeper into a situation before banning people. we just want them to improve, not go away.

your poll pretty much shows that the community is a 50/50 split, and people are all over the place on the ban policy.

Rules are rules, and they are necessary to maintain order. As I have said before, if RE were to let one person off the hook, it sets a bad example for others to follow. On the other hand, if they make an example of a renowned player by not giving special treatment, authority is maintained and the example is set. If you do not like it, tough, rules are rules. No one should be entitled to special treatment.

i agree with what frankie said but it's not the case. he is banned for account theft but he never stole anything. false accusations is a sign of corruption within the leadership of the aoe3 community. the game Rise of Nations is looking pretty good right now...

I authorise you to post the names of the accounts I'm accused of "stealing", heck I'll do it for you, predatorfreak was mine, _pi is mine, the_hand_of_god is mine, qu1cksilver99 was pacman97's, he quit and gave it too me, you could ask him, he'd confirm this, energie was an account I was allowed to use by it's owner.

So congradualations! You banned me for using 2 accounts my friends gave me and 3 that I owned, are you joking?

I authorise you to violate my privacy and post your proof that I ever stole a single account. I'm confident it's non-existent, as surely someone in your position could compare the password hashes of the accounts, compare them over the last number of months and see that the password was never changed except for the accounts I actually own.

Desert and poverty exist on every continent except Antarctica, were there is no poverty.

In fact, earth's largest desert isn't even in Africa.
