Yea true. Not sure they are as effective in a 1v1 situation
no they are good all around......as long as you stay away from Japan you can pretty much hold your own on most maps and games. best skirms, best goons, and fast artillery. That fast artillery is such an important card for a civ to have, and they are one of the few who have it.

Taunt 2 cacadores aren't the best skirms! They fail even HARDER than other skirms vs cav/artillery(or abus or grens)

If you counter cav with skirms, you're doing it wrong. But none the less, the best skirms are Forest Prowler and Abus.

i didn't say that, i said that cassadores get countered harder by cav/artillery than regular skirms do which is completely true.

ok so if i have some hussars you're never going to make skirms/cassas even if i have a ton of muskets? Everyone will have more than 1 unit so most of the time your opponent will have several different unit types in a battle.

No one puts out cassadores unprotected and that goes for all skirms
gurkha is the best skirmisher but India loses vs ports
lol its such a dumb idea to put out anti infantry without hand units to keep cav ftom decimating them
