great to see they added it, If i could find a place ot also play Empire Earth 2 and Rise Of Nations I would be set.

Voobly supports Rise of Nations as well, but unfortunately doesn't support Empire Earth 2. But hey, that's 2/3!

lol this thread is another example of how completely clueless agecomm noobs are. voobly is so much better than ESO in so many ways. not even gonna explain, just try it. they might adopt FP as well so we may finally have a balanced game.

I sure hope you were being sarcastic. Agecomm noobs? Says the person with 5k+ posts? You are calling yourself a noob, by saying that!

Saying that one thing is better than something which is official, has been proven good, and has more people, WITHOUT providing any evidence, is downright [...wow, i cant even think of a word for you, right now] and makes you look like a troll.

Does Voobly home city support and prevent against home city hacking? No? Didn't think so. Voobly is just a platform pirates use who didn't feel like supporting the game they love. No one in their right mind would use Voobly instead of playing with the 2000 players on ESO. If Voobly ever has more players online than ESO, for AoE3, then I'll join, other than that I'm sticking with the official platform.

    P.S. What's FP, btw?

the last line nullified your entire post. i guess i'll still name some things that make voobly better than eso:

    - FP standard patch (will be within a couple weeks)
    - more userfriendly UI and much more options
    - always a mod online to provide support when needed
    - no failed to join error
    - a much more solid rating system (which dumbass ever thought of PR lol)
    - you don't need to have TAD open when looking for a game/waiting for someone to join which saves a lot of power and allows you to do other stuff without having to alt tab every 10 seconds

No. Last I checked, there were only 30 people in the lobby all together, and no rooms were open. Even GameRanger has more.

Okay, so all of those are valid points, but the home cities are important to me, so that makes it better than everything.

Still don't know what FP means :P

Fan patch, a patch made by the fans which improves the balance like RE/ES has never managed to do.

Balance is the worst part of game development. That's why I could never do an RTS, or if I somehow had to, I'd have to rely on the beta testers.

I meant the HC hacks, so you don't get a higher level and such. I just hack it. I have a level 666 HC whenever I play on GameRanger (when ESO is down), with all cards unlocked :P

surely you have an asian level 100 HC on ESO by now, which means you can get any civ you want at level 100 and 100 is more than enough to choose every card you would ever need. besides, everyone having access to the same cards ultimately makes the game more balanced, even though only 1% of players on ESO don't have lvl 100 HCs

I guess so. But, i like the scenery better :) Brown and light brown ftw! Still, if Voobly get's more people, I'll see, but right now it's despicable.

Gs, I think level 40 home cities are already sufficient. And no I don't think only 1% doesnt have a level 100+ home city, more like 10-25%. (I guess you say 1% because you are pro and thus play with pros and pros are usually over active which results in high HC level cities).

Even tho only 0.5% doesnt have a level 40 Home city.

thats what im saying yeah, I know so many people who have home cities between 70-90 because they just play a ton of civs and don't instantly delete their home cities once they reach 80 or sth so they can get all of them to level 80..
