LOL, ...........you can't build a wall there. :)

Does anyone have the Albinx boom on record the link goes to the site but the game itself is gone?

One thing I did notice is that both Albinx and I got about 100k total resources so that's probably what you should expect as a max on Andes in a 1v1 situation.

Oh, I just tried a boom going Spain first to get the fast shipment upgrade -- it gives you one more shipment but far fewer resources than going the traditional Port, Dutch, Spain, Japan route. I still think the Shrine XP card is worth it in a real game. You many get a lower score by using it but you will have a much more powerful army as by using it you can get most of your good cards in by 40.

Oh, BTW, I see most people sending the Spanish large unit shipment but don't discount the Dutch one. The Musketeers you get have the same attack as Ashis and the mortars have 600+ bombard attack in the aura -- they may not be as long range as the Japan ones but they pack a punch.

I downloaded allbinx's boom about a week ago, so it should still be there iirc.

The first time I went there it just sent me to the blank homepage for the file service. Now, after wading through a couple of pages of ad-ware links I may have found it.

OK, after looking at Albinx's Japan boom and tweaking it a bit I've come up with this (note graphics are set lowest for the recording so it will play back fastest if you set them the same).

Everything is upgraded but two at the GP, which I forgot to recheck but they are on the way. I'm calling this a 2000 boom but it actually hit 2100 before 40 (and will be back at 2100 in a few seconds as soon as the GP upgrades come in) Note, also, that Japan Isolation is just about here and will be before the first shot is fired -- get the 10 block upgrade ASAP. Unlike in Albinx's boom, the Shogun is out too.

    Albinx resources: 61/14/24
    Mine: 69/9/28

Pretty similar and had I paid attention I cauld have got them the same. Wood can be substantially increased in this boom by leaving the villagers on wood longer. Note that I have all of the chopping cards so they are chopping fools.

    2000 Japan Boom general writeup

    • Gather Crates.
    • Put your starting 6 villagers all to to food.
    • Queue villagers to wood.
    • Build one shrine at a hunt – put it to wood.
    • Send Cherry Blossom Festival (15% food). On this map there are two cherry orchards – you will be gathering here for some time, probably until age IV.
    • Build a Market, send two or three villagers to coin, then get all the upgrades as you can
    • Build a Consulate – ally with Ports for wood saving and cheaper aging.
    • Send Heavenly Kami – cheaper shrines – build shrines at hunts as you have the wood.
    • At about 20 villagers out plus queued stop production and put shrines to food in order to age to II – age with the big shrine (increases shrine production).
    • Start queuing to gold.
    • Build the rest of your shrines. Send Seven Lucky Gods and as soon as it comes in put the shrines to XP (note that the age IV upgrade doesn't affect XP so there is no need to get this until you plan switch later).
    • Once the shrines are on XP the cards will start coming in fast. Get trickle then the team general gathering and then the wood chopping cards (the 15% can be sent twice).
    • Get the market upgrades for age II.
    • As soon as all of your shrines have been built move ½ to food and ½ to gold. Age with the wonder that gives XP.
    • In age III, start three TCs then switch the consulate to Dutch. Get the bank then other buildings as you can. Once all buildings are out check export periodically and switch to Spain to get the XP as soon as you have 700.
    • You should be able to go pretty much from III to IV, starting to IV at about 10:30 or so. Get the wood chopping upgrade at the market after you have started building the age IV shrine (Golden Pavilion).
    • Send Royal Mint for mining then the food cards (best first). After the food cards are sent, start with the paddy shipments, followed by the coin upgrade shipments.
    • The orchards will be used up about now so build some paddies and upgrade the food gathering. Food gather and mine and get the rest of the settlers out. I usually get all of the settlers out before going to V but many age faster. Personally, I don't think V does you much good until you get the upgrades so an early age without the resources to upgrade doesn't do you any good. However, you should start to V not much later than 18 min though.
    • Stay on food and wood until you have the gold cards and upgrades in then switch about half to gold.
    • From here on it's just a matter of getting the gathering upgrades, then the military ones, building a base and sending your army. Note that I keep the shrines on XP until I get all the eco cards and the Shogun out then switch them to wood. As you build and produce an army you will get another card for Shogun fast train.
    • Send the big Spanish army. Note that I saw that I was going to be low on export so I put the tax at 10% for a minute or two. I was none too soon getting them out as I didn't quite get switched to JIsolation before 40. The consulate will be switched in a few seconds though for the 5% attack and 10 unit queue (remember when attack was 10%?).

Edit: I just re-ran this boom to see if it was repeatable and it is. On the second run I got 2000 at 40 but the Spanish Brigade wasn't out yet (it got there at 10 seconds after and the score jumped over 2100). Just make sure to go to 10% export tax at about 5 minutes before treaty end to ensure getting these units out in time; go back to 0% the instant you have 2400 export. For some reason, even though I didn't collect a single treasure other than the one next to the TC, on the second boom I got an extra card (I sent the Yumi long-range card). I think this was because I built several shrines after I sent 7 Lucky Gods as I noticed a hunt that had strayed in range after being pushed by the comp. I also left choppers on wood longer and thus shrines on XP longer.

Once again, the resources totaled about 100k, though this time I had less food and gold, and considerably more wood (about 56/22/25). This may not be a bad distribution as you can now put all to food and have it come in faster than you can use it making units if you are going bow heavy.

Im gonna say thats not a real viable multiplayer boom, cherry blossom thing, the tickle, imo a real boom should send a ton of Daimyo's and stuff and long term cards..

imo this boom > yours for having 2 Daimyo's and a Shogun and maybe a 3rd Daimyo but cant see it due to the flag, also I have ofc faster training for Daimyos and Shoguns:

Seems like lots of work, but i dont think this bo is close to the best you could do in a real game.

-First, you can always build a consulate as first building, ally with ports and build a shrine at 107 w, that works with 200w start too (chop 107).

-7luckygods, trickle and cherry up are just a waste of deck space. Order should be 8% all, kami, w, refrig/mint imo.

-The wonders should be built this way in 1v1: Shrine, Gates, Pav, Shogunate. Shogunate later for more xp, same with torii gates (more xp for tcs etc).

Its 106 wood with the port consulate. I do like 7Luckygods as it ups your boom score and especially the amount of cards you can get out, but idk though.
