Age of Empires Forums

To be honest with you,  I do not play Age of Empires I anymore for several reasons-

( and,no, I don't know any LAN connection or other center for age1 playing) I encourage if you haven't already to immerse yourself in the Age 3 gaming experience!!

Animated blood made it feel fake and not historical

Absence of the homecity brought age1 with little tactics or strategy, something age3 has shown really enhances gameplay and historic accuracy

Last, I did not like how you were unable to control troops within battle. In age1, you send archers against other archers, and  you did not have control  over the units neither control to position them in battle( such as Age 3 Advanced Formations and Command Tabs and Strategy Tabs)

Most obviously perhaps, the graphics tremendously improved for realistic historic gameplay

+1 if ever a ROR remake was done it should have HC

     It's too Old and boring Maybe before 20 years lol It was funny and Cool BUt... Now who still playing  AOE1  , Give me  a break...

Lots of people still play AOE1, just because you don't doesn't mean it is taboo.

I would say at least 150-200. Granted, this may not sound like much compared to the thousands who play age3, but it is still enough. There are always at least 15-20 ROR games going whenever I log in to GameRanger. And why do you really care if I play ROR anyways? It is no skin off of your back if I play an "outdated" game, as you call it. If you don't like ROR please GTFO and stop harassing old time gamers like me who still do.

I reallY Wish to Buy AOE2 The Original One Ofcourse , But It's Out of stores , Could You tell Me How many People Dp Still Playing AOE2 ? I Only played A Copyed AOE2 Did't had  the chance to Play Online So i Envy You ''Just Kidding''' For playing On AOE2 ONLINE.

Loved this game!  I would get up early to play it before I went to school most mornings about 7-8 years ago...

So sad, I believe the Age of Empires series is on the decline...
