Re: < < Scenario Design - Question Thread > >
Never in all my days spent here..Have I seen this place as dead as it is..
We need some new designers in here!
Wow..
Maybe it's time to move over to H.G?.
At least there's a few people still alive there!

Supersonic7,
You're question is not stupid..It's really a good question..
Your answer..Go into the "Scenario" tab at the top of the editor..Then scroll to "scenario data"..Select the number of players..Then click"ok".. Then go to "player data"..You should then have what you seek.

You're most welcome. Happy to have been able to help!
Yes the developers never really supported design..I've been asking for years for some editor tweaks and some documentation to help new people .

I just thought that this needs to be posted in here..
This code will set your scenario to desired difficulty when playing from the main page.
Just copy it into your trigger/typetest for the correct version of the game you're playing..Put it at the end of your "effects" section..
Make sure to back up this folder before making any changes..
Regards <Effect name="CHANGE Difficulty">
<Param name= "level" dispName="Diff 0-3" VarType="string">0</Param>
<Command>setWorldDifficulty(%level%);</Command>
</Effect>

Re: < < Scenario Design - Question Thread > >
Well?.
I think it's more a non-support issue..Since the beginning..The makers of this game never really supported this end of the community..We have always been left to fend for ourselves..Help each other..The interest in scenario design has been dwindling for several years now..People just getting fed up and leaving..New guys that might be interested in scenario design are intimidated by the non documentation and the complexities that the scenario editor presents..They just give up..So I think that the non-support issue has finally caught up with them..Results..This- and I fear it will get worse!

Re: < < Scenario Design - Question Thread > >
Greetings Musketeer925,
This is the first time I've heard of any problems with light settings..I'm using the reyk's x-y version..If you followed his directions in the install read-me with the editor download..You need to have the correct uimainnew .xml.xmb in your data folder..I.E..The x-y download has two uimainnew .xml.xmb files..One is for TWC and one is for TAD..If your running tad now..You'll need the correct file mentioned.
Regards
