I think the lot of you is right. I think I can add Sweden into my suggestion.

YET, I don't know which one might be better:

    Sweden

     or

    Denmark (With Norway).

I think the Danish also claimed Greenland (Which is technically in America). Surprise

     -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I say Sweden, because it was in the 18th/19th century a much bigger and stronger empire (if Im not wrong) they had Norway in their power, and maybe Finland (not sure).

And about Denmark, I would not do it, the time that they discovered Greenland was around the middle ages!

denmark didnt discover greenland in the middleages. a viking named something from either norway or iceland did. it was setteld for a while bat was later forgotten and then re-discoverd.

By the way, I think I may help you out with this and come up with the units for all the civs to further bolster the idea. Will the x-pack happen? Nope, but it'd still be fun to work on the concepts.

That would be great. I don't think the X-pack will happen either, but I posted this just as a means of suggesting a possibility for perhaps when they re-make AoE III in 2029 Stick out tongue.

So yes, you can make the units for the civilizations. I'll gladly post them in the specific civilization you did and--of course--I'll post that it was you whom made the unit ideas.

Who knows, maybe ES might decide to make a 3rd X-pack, and maybe these ideas make it.Big Smile

May I just point out that The Union of Sweden and Norway only existed at the very end of the Age of Empires III time scale? Surely a more suitable option would be Denmark-Norway or Sweden-Finland, which existed for most of the Age III timeline.

I was also thinking about the Kalmar Union, but thought that it would be more "Middle Ages" related (AoE 2) than it would be Napoleonic (AoE 3) related.

I'm also beginning to go more towards the Swedish side of the choices since it would be more "Scandinavian" (If you get my point).

Think of it as just an option. IMO, if ES does make a Swedish civilization, they'll just call it: "Sweden" since calling it "Sweden-Norway" or anything of that sort would be way too long.

In other words, I just added the Swedish-Norwegian union since it had a neat looking flag (which I couldn't post since apparently the flags take up a lot of space, even though they don't look like it). Yet, you can also think of it as any other Swedish union since all in all, ES will just call the civilization "Sweden." Yes

Just finished with Italy. IMO, Euro civs will be somewhat easy to work on, particularly the more major ones.

The Italy model is very interesting. I remember also seeing some other ideas in Heavengames, with a thread made by Custergrant for Venetian civilization. Smile

Italy is no further elaborated in the first post thanks to H.R.H. Redemption. Big Smile Yes

    HAHA

Are you kidding me? Inca are in no way the most advanced and mightiest in the Americas

Yes they were. Of course, since you don't know history and are completely fanatized by the Aztecs (which were a pretty interesting civilization), your statements really matter little. Stick out tongue

I like how you try and sweeten it up by saying "(which were a pretty interesting civilization)". I know a lot more about history than you when it comes to the Americas. Let's see...Cusco was shaped as a puma (haha)...they had golden llamas...they had forts...roads...yeah. Their neighbours made uh...forts. Aztecs constructed one of the greatest cities in the world, a military force compared to the French/Moors, writing system, advanced building techniques, advanced legal system. Texcoco was considered the Athens of the New World, that's enough right there. Spanish didn't note much about the Inca and Cusco because they weren't nearly as astounding as the Aztec. Sorry man, keep wishing.

    LOLOLOL!!!!! Big Smile

Texcoco compared to Athens????!!! That's the biggest crap I've heard this week!

Spanish didn't note much about the Inca and Cusco because they weren't nearly as astounding as the Aztec.

The Spanish burned and destroyed nearly every single thing that belonged to the Incas so as to the natives in the area would forget that they ever existed.

So not only were the Incas the mightiest in America, but the Spanish feared their culture so much that they had to destroy it...

    Let's see...Cusco was shaped as a puma (haha)...they had golden llamas...they had forts...roads...yeah. Their neighbours made uh...forts.

Wow. I mean, you really are an idiot. Stick out tongue
