sioux warchief is lightning fast and eats artillery for supper.

I tend to play as native civs for fun but not when I am serious about winning. See with native civs even with a huge army you just don't feel so powerful as if you where playing as the Russians or the French (civs I like). So anyways yeah if your going to play as the Sioux build tepees or else..

sioux warchief can have up to 6000HP with a warchief dance, and a bonus of 11x artillery, so using cannons on sioux...not very smart

sioux warchief can have up to 6000HP with a warchief dance, and a bonus of 11x artillery, so using cannons on sioux...not very smart
 

Ahem, im a Sioux only player myself btw, You guys havnt even used halbs or pikes or musketeers to put infront of your cannons? not like your going to send your artillery out there alone. Stick them right infront trust me

I'm confused how rifle riders can't get them. If I use RR's, they counter those halbs you just put up and that howitzer.

I remember when I first used artillery in AoE3 I was afraid to use pikeman in the front because I figured they where going to be killed by the artillery firing at the building. In AoE2 when you use magonols and use infantry in front the infantry will die.

Well I guess whatever the enemy has next to those teepees youll put up behind ur artillery, if he brings out his rifle riders, you bring out your goons, if he brings out his wakinas u use ur cannons simple easy its called countering if you know how. Goons have big ranged resistance, while rifle riders have big hand resistance, so if he decides to use his rifle riders against ur goons hes done for, it will drain out his economy fast since they cost about 220 recources each. 

Except that the teepee's aura will still be affecting it, so you'll be at a huge advantage. And yes, I do know what countering is, I'm not stupid. Please don't act like I am. Not to mention that dragoons suck vs each other and that you should use light infantry, which'll instill serious damage on them.

This is kinda a random question.

How many tepees can you build in one game? Is there a limit?

Well then why are you arguing? You know hwo to counter good then do it

The way to get in the habit of using teepees is to send the "new ways" card which is your arsenal improvements. That way when you send a vil to make a teepee you might as well have him make several while he's at it.  Why turn down the opportunity to add +2 range and 10% attack to your rifle riders anyway?  Not to mention the other techs you can get with it that are all very useful like 1 multiplier wakinas against heavy infantry, cav hit points, cav siege 30% bonus, etc.

Teepee's also have use in decreasing the chances of your Warchief to die (See my sig). He will be happy to hear that.
