    My favorite would be the byzantines because they just crush anyone in their way.

     

    My least favorite would have to be the Tuetons. very strong men, but get a few mongeols and archers, you can whoop them

    i alwats liked Saracens for the Camal units Persia for ther ultimate war ellie shoave about 50 of those u pwn  and Tuetons\

     

    and japanese for there somewhat good economy

    The Spanish were the best by far. I also liked the Teutons and Aztec.

    The worst, which were the ones I used least, where the Goths.

    Franks not weak, they have strong knights and cheap castles

    Best: Byzantines (too powerful) and mamalukes (or saracens) vs byzantines and persians

    Spanish are good all round and have an excellnet navy. Mongol cav archers  and siege weapons can be devastating.

    I don't hate any civ. all have got their own strengths and weaknesses.

    As far as i could tell, the only really pathetically weak civ was the mayans. (No cav, bad unique unit)
