I do not discuss my pay rate.
It makes sense that it is performance based. So for example for every new account he gets $0.01 and $0.05 for every new clan. It takes a little work so for banning cheaters he gets something like $0.25 each. Keeping Age Communitty active is good, so for every post on a forum another $0.01. (The rates here are just examples I'm sure that they are much higher).

That would be a terrible payment model for any community - as it would encourage the CM to actively encourage spambots, useless posts, and other things that are horrible for actual community development. My job is as much about server support as it is dealing with the community. While I had several paid internships growing up, this is my full time job. (I graduated a few years back now).

i have a question, when i left two years ago Aloysius was mod, now i come back and Aloysium is fired and RyzOn is here, but i never knew why why did they fire Alousius i hear rumors (reading sigs) that he was incompetant but want to know the truth

Robot gave support of the game over to Microsoft in preparation for the release of AoE:O. It is true that Aloysius no longer works for them, but that came a long time after the moderation switch here.
