    What?

I'd personally like the First World War to be included in a game that starts right were AOE3 left off, 1850. I don't particularly want to see the Second World War in a game, but if it were, I wouldn't mind. I also don't want the USA to be included in a First World War vanilla. If you want to know why, go to my Age Of Empires IV - 1950-1918 thread.

The time period of 1850-1914 wouldn't fit in very well with the world wars; it should be dealt with separately from them. Even the world wars themselves are different enough to warrant them being separate games. And definitely no future warfare AoE! If you want that, try Halo Wars when it comes out!

Right, Halo Wars will be on Xbox 360 but is still by ES. Just because Halo Wars is not on PC doesn't mean a future warfare game will be released in the AoE series. Halo Wars will be similar enough in gameplay to what you would expect from a future AoE.

    Lord John:

But there is one problem. Someone here said that the calvary would be replaced by tanks. Well on aoe3 you can kill calvary with musketeers in melee. What about tank? Can you destroy them with infantry? No. So what could they use instead?

It may sound like Company of Heroes but the only idea I´ve come up with is to equip infantry with antitank weapons: Bazookas, Panzershrecks, Piat, depending on who you are playing or maybe satchel charges...

Ant the antitank guns can be the Dragoons

Maybe they can use the thing on the Chinese barracks. Each button trains five or more units. So they can use that and it could train 3 infantry 2 heavy machine gunners and 1 anti tank unit.

     Me smart.

Or the barracks contains Infantry. Heavy Machine gunners. And Anti tank units. And snipers!

Thats a good idea. Have them spawn in squads.

Planes seems like they should also spawn in groups, like 3 planes or so in a single squad. They could have aircraft carriers produce them.

Also they could make AOE4 based in WWI and have an expansion of WWII.

Have countries like Germany and Russia become Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union with the expansion.

No. They should just be one unit spawned. From a carrier or airfield.

I got an idea! Lets make up our own list of buildings that would be in this game.

    no I would like an AoE 4 from 1850 - 1918:

    1st act:

    • Set in the west, like the steal and shadow acts so far, building of the railroad with chinese and fighting agaisnt mexicans, bandits and w/e

    2nd act:

    • British wars in Africa - Sudan, zulus, boers, benin (Pick one)

    3rd act

    • WWI, first few levels from the brit perspective in north africa and perhaps a level in belgium
    • second few levels from russian perspective
    last few from american perspective

    Civs include:

    • Sudanese
    • Zulus
    • Boers
    • Ottomans
    • United states
    • Russia
    • Britain
    • Afgans
    • Mexicans
    • French
    • Greece

We could also have a similar set up to native americans, reducing the number of true civs, so these would be minor civs:

    • Zulus
    • Sudanese
    • Boers
    • Afgans
    • Egyptians (Allied to brits in the war, though no major role)
    • Greeks (Had no major role in any war but there were battles in greece)
