    Teepees don't affect villagers.

    Kill a man, you're a murderer.
Kill many men, you're a hero.
Kill thousands of men, you're a conquerer.

:( Oh well, it sounded to good to be true. I wonder about the stat differences between TWC Villagers and Vanilla Settlers...

It should be 100% the same.

    Kill a man, you're a murderer.
Kill many men, you're a hero.
Kill thousands of men, you're a conquerer.

I don't build manors for LOS, I build wall stubs, go to the church, get the tech that adds LOS, and it's like having spies in everything but the vicinity of your opponent's TC.

    Yes, please.

    I *think* it's a monkey wearing lederhosen.

    Wilson_teh_Great:

When I play as Brits I tend to build my manor houses in incrediably dangerous places, along the perimeter of my base, in the middle of chokepoints and sometimes in the middle of the map. Why? It's because that mid-game, if the enemy destroys those manors it will help my boom. And when they attack my manors, I know their troop movements and what units they have. It also gives me line of sight on the map, preventing raids.

Am I being wise or foolhardy? Is building my manors on the frontlines good or bad?

Good job: use manors as LOS, walls.

yea, i do that too, i think its good because even if tehy destroy your houses you shouldnt worry about the pop because you will probably have so many, and if they get detroyed, u can make more= free villgers.
