General Guidelines to Posting at AgeCommunity.com
The Do’s
1. Have fun.
2.
Try to contribute to the community. Sitting on the sidelines is only
fun for so long and the more we all pitch in the more fun we will all
have. We are here so everyone can get involved.
3. Start new conversations and topics. This board is here so that information and ideas can be traded.
4.
Before posting a new thread on a subject read existing threads/posts,
check the FAQs, and check for similar threads by using the search
function.
5. Use subject lines that are descriptive of your post.
6. Meet new people, and be friendly.
7. Do encourage your family to view the forums together
8. Have fun (you can’t have enough so we had to put it in twice)
9.
Do post only in English. While we understand many people's desire to
speak in their native tongues as opposed to English, this unfortunately
has to remain an English-only board.
10. Keep images in your signature image no larger (height and width) than 375x125 pixels.
Do Nots
1.
Posting offensive or derogatory comments, including those of a racial,
religious, or sexual nature. This includes your username, signature
line, and title.
2. Posting pictures or links to images which
contain pornography, nudity, animal cruelty, racism, or sexism. Images
of violence which are extreme will be removed and may result in a
warning or worse.
3. Posting comments or links in support of
illegal activities including, but not limited to, threats against the
life of any living person, theft, arson, poking small animals, and
piracy.
4. Trying to obtain or posting someone else's personal
contact information is prohibited. Examples are home phone numbers,
home addresses, and any unpublished e-mail addresses.
5.
Repeatedly attacking or insulting a person in an effort to get a
negative response. You have a right to disagree, but do so in a
respectful manner.
7. Posting topics or discussions with the
desire to do the site or community harm. More specifically creating
topics meant to disrupt the site's day to day management, disrupt
member's resources, or disrupt the ability for the site to function
normally.
8. Posting repeat topics with similar or slightly
varying titles. The "spamming" of the community in this manner results
in problems for users and management. Multiple topics on important
issues or discussions are fine, this only applies to topics which waste
resources for no other reason except personal enjoyment or humor.
9.
Do not advertise any services or businesses. Any post that contains any
sort of advertising will be removed and the person posting it may be
banned as well.
10. Do not continually bump or sign posts. This is similar to spamming.
11. Do not post threads with an all capitals subject line; the thread may be edited/locked/deleted.
12.
Do not title your post soliciting ES directly such as; ES PLEASE READ,
ES READ ME, ATT MODS. Doing this may result in your post being ignored
or edited/locked/deleted. We will get to your request as soon as we can.
13.
Do not discuss cheats/abuse/theft or accuse others of such activities
on the forums both can result in a ban. If you have any information of
cheating send an e-mail to age3support@robotentertainment.com
14. Please refrain from posting in any language besides English.
15.
Posting links to or discussing pirated copy righted material will not
be tolerated at AgeCommunity.com. Doing so will result in a instant
ban.
16. Threads highlighting/celebrating reaching a post count are considered spam and will be locked/deleted.
17. Discussions / appeals of game bannings should be communicated through email, not on the forums.
18. Do not use ES (or variations of it) in your display name and do not impersonate and ES or MS employee.
19. Do not troll by way of posting spoilers for movies,
tv shows, and books.
20. Do not post any petitions, links to petitions, or ask for signatures or to post in a thread in order to agree/disagree with the original post.
21. There is no longer an off-topic forum, therefore there is no place for off-topic discussion on this message board. There are many other great off-topic forums on the internet, and we suggest you go there to fulfill your off-topic needs. These off-topic discussions include religion, politics and all other non-Age of Empires related topics.
22. Your actions on the forums can affect your in-game account. If you break any of the rules here on the forums, your in-game account can be banned, and vice versa. Follow the Rules!
About Moderators
1.
Site Staff and Moderators reserve the right to edit any post or site
content and to remove your ability to modify them in the future.
2. Attacking moderators constantly will result in a ban.
3. Periodically the moderators will purge old threads from the forums.
4.
Moderators have to follow rules too. If you have a problem with a
moderator or feel you are being treated unfairly e-mail us about it. age3support@robotentertainment.com
