Notice how all of the good players in this post have been defending iamgrunt. Funny that. Iamgrunt has lost before, that must make him a bad player! Hey we aren't saying iamgrunt sucks, because he doesn't, and regarding me, i don't give a sh¡t about how good my "playing" abilities are, I just know that my life is much more enjoyable than his, and I live in a real world, not in a videogame world....

He might be good at computer games...but I would bet I can beat him in any sport... AND I would definitely prefer to be the noobest noob than to be iamgrunt, not because he's bad but because what being so good means(grinding games to be nº 1 at the expense of having some fun with your friends and going out, etc) [Edited on 1/11/2007]

i can probably beat u in any sport AND aoe3. and btw grunt is not fat or anything for all you know he can run a 5 minute mile easily.

I can't believe how stupid you are.. You don't know anything about iamgrunt's social life, he might have a hot girl friend, lots of friends and hobbys.

c'mon, top players play constantly beetwen them, just look on elorating: grunt looses, ruth does too, as nature and Andi, they just r more dificult to beat. They have a focking really fast micro, they strats r greatly well studied, i just love them when they post on AS, they just pwn.

He mgiht be a good player. Sry. Hes the one of if not the best players. But i really like being with friends and at parties more than i play aoe3. If he likes that life, well good for him. But i know out rather go out with my girlfriend than to play videogames. lol.

O yeah. Anyone know where i can find some of his strats or rec games?

Almost everyone over 20 has a job(if not studying). Office work/Taxi driver/Factory worker. This guy is lucky and plays as his work, you are just envious, because you know you never get such a fun job.
He plays aoe3 then he hangs around with his friends or goes to pub or something.
Someone might drive a taxi and after work hang around with his/her friendsor something.
Doing work is just normal. Life isn't just hanging with your friends.

Interesting thought. But playing videogames doesnt really help your health for example. I dont know what he does but i tell all real time videoplayers need to also do other things besides that.

seriously i think he plays this game so much he is sick of it, its just a matter of putting the bread on the table for him.

This game is all math and micro. I think the key is to memorize all the hotkeys so you can multi task stuff fast. He also probly memorised the statistics for every unit. He is probably great in math and multi tasking. I think it takes true talent to play this game.

so you are saying you skip your work/school and go hang out with friends? playing games is his job dude. most people work 8 hours a day and he plays 8 hours a day. he has as much free time to hang out as anyone.

Quick objection- math is not the same as arithmetic, now I understand that the chances are about 99.99% that you are a layman, but as a mathematician I would like to say that Maths is not what everyone thinks it is, it is a rich, intellectual, wide subject. I quote: "It too has its grandeur, agony, and flights of lyricism. However there is adifference"

So please can you call the four arithmetic functions arithmatic, and not math, maths or Mathematics. [Edited on 1/13/2007]
