the strategie with the minuteman as defence doesn't work the enemy will just retreat and creat more units and he will come back and your minuteman will be killed in 1 shot and that rally sucks ass.

what if you make first the market house and the gold and hunting upgrade and a bank .
and after that you make 2 banks with 700 woo shipment ?
and is that card that produces food automaticly good ?

Try to add which civs can counter this

 

For Example Germany because of Uhlans with Every shipment and Doppels will break open Banks.

I recently played a german player with a higher elo than me 1 v 1. I used milo's strat, and it worked just fine against his dopple/uhlan rush. I pretty much used the skirms to pick off the dopples while the ruyters I shipped right after I aged went infront of the skirms to protect against the uhlans. I also kept both the skirms and ruyters behind banks which made a HUGE pathing problem for their cav and inf. Most of them went down before they got to my units. Also, don't ring the town bell unless u have to, just put in 10 vills and that will get u the max attack to help with picking them off.

That's cuz u guys are too hasty to call the minutemen. Don't call them as soon as you see the enemy. If u can, get your skirms to go behind your TC and fire at the enemy. The enemy will follow you behind your TC to attack your skirms. Call minutemen towards the front of your TC, and they will have a hard time retreating, cuz a)They have to go around the TC again, b) they have to go through your minutemen, and c), they'll have to go through your wall-like banks.

Houses and markets are great too. Markets are big as well, they can block up a lot of space.

Like milo said though, they're low hp and are better at the back of your base, cuz they can be destroyed quickly. Your opponent can hit and run them with siege before you garrison your vills. But you can't do that with banks because they're just too strong.
