    Subject: Beating Expert Comp: Can't do it

    I am a MS in TAD, and a Coporal in vanilla (I am NOT a chinese lamer.) I'm good with the russians, japanese, ottoman and aztec, and I have a good boom strat with french. I rush with russians, otto and aztec ad boom with japs and france. I have beaten  qutie a bit of people on unrateds, and have a PR of 19.

    The only problem  I have is beating the expert comp. At first when i played i got owned. But after using french, i got a nice boom and xbw harassment going, but my opponet was aztec and he always had 30 pints on me. The he kicked my army's ass, then ****** my town. How can I beat an expert comp?

    Its hard to beat a expert computer 1 on 1 when I play sioux. What i ussually do is a quick fast fortress then get wakinas or send some axe riders for raiding. It slows them down and you can work on your base at the same time if ur good at multitasking.

    This is how I beat the expert ai.

    Defend. 

    Defend until your economy is raging then send a cheap horde that will draw out their military and follow them with petard spam.

    Usually takes about 3 waves of this until it hurts them enough you can do the final push. 

     

    I use the portuguese and can usually win. Once in awhile though the computer really does play like an expert...
