    Subject: Revolution option

How come when you revolt and win the game, you're back to you're old army? I'd prefer it if you started building up from the revolution army. It's not like in real life, people say, "Yeah, we got bored, so can we come back now?" The way this is, it almost makes it look like the ruler tells them to revolt. Like a few minutes ago, I was playing as Britain, and revolted and became American. I beat the game with a large army of Colonial Militia and Gatling Guns. the Gatlings are one of the coolest parts of the revolution, and you have to use thousands of resources to get there each time. It's also cool how you get unlimited forts.

Back to the point, shouldn't there be like a Permanent Revolution option? This way, you could keep the Revolution Deck, add new cards to it, and all that stuff. And even more realistic, they could hav e the Mother Nation send an army to fight you, but instead of being on the other team, they'd be like a Team 3, fighting everyone

They've been called Leathernecks. They've been called Devil Dogs. But most of all, they're called Marines.

A permanent revolution? That could be a whole new type of civ like the Warchiefs and TAD. It actually seems plausible, and if Ensemble ever feels like pushing AOE 3 even farther they'd prob be doing something like this. But I doubt it. It's really rare to see three expansions. DoW:Soulstorm is the only one I've seen so far.

A mother nation joining the fight would be interesting, but are you talking about the permanent revolution or just how it is now? I doubt the mother nation could respond so quickly.

preferably both, but I'd take one, and if ES makes a few changes, (I'd like it to make big changes, but...) and put a Mother Nation Response in the current one, then I'd be fine..for awhile.

And I was hoping for it to be in AOE4, not an expansion.

Seriously, if you were revolted you would have no vills to age up. Also you wouldnt have a option. Gatling guns are nice to have but they dont compare to heavy cannon. I never revolt but if you find effective Online go for it.

-Why not use the Dutch. They can have 10 banks.

    I like your idea..

In order for it to work..They'd need to modify the revolution concept..I have felt all along that settlers should still be available after revolution..The home city needs to be tweaked as well..Set it up like a regular HC..It would then be more attractive for guys to use it..I also agree with the point..It would create an entirely new way to play.

you must understand that this is Age of Empires

You are supposed to be a empire not revolt from it

However i agree it would be fun if you could do it.

Also if you could choose to have pernament revolting or temporary revolting.
