    Subject: Iroquois good at Treaty?!?!?!?
    Ive just figured something out about the Iroquois. Once u max out their eco with a hundred villies, build whatever army u can (wood forbidding) to max out ur pop cap. Then, put all 25 villies on fire pit and do Earth Mother dance to give urself 25 more pop cap. Fill this with villies, and then resume the dancers to work. Thus, ull have 225/200 and may gain a slight eco advantage. Still whether this saves u from the horrible wood problems is another story...



    Ok, on this own this sig might not be impressive, but just so u know I started playing Dutch in nr10s 10 games ago...

    No because earth mother increases population, not viliger limit, so this won't work.

    you can have 118 villies with iroquois if you age up with the villager thing

    You can have 119 villies with iro's. and yes you should always get 225 pop at end of 40 mins, but then you should switch dance to attack dance. I use iro's much the same as i do germans. i use them on maps with good natives and i do not kill off any of my villies (most times). i try to get 1-2 native posts and use them to supplement the 20 pop loss. Iro natives are much better than german natives as they have 25% attack card. Also, 30% extra quantity card and 20% less food and wood cost card. As for wood problems i use the market card (20% trade variance). it helps a little.

    iro doo have a nice amount of cards too boost there in fatry 4 to be exact  n siege and 2 cards for calv and obvious op eco

    i think if some one masters them they could be a trouble in the treaty game

    I got beat by a iro treaty player, he said he used most of the wood cards and by then he took mostly half of the wood on the map I gathered a bit of wood but not enough for me to be making warclubs to take out there ranged muskets. Once my warclubs where gone he messed me up and my base hardcore my rifle riders n my bows couldnt do *** and with sioux 1 on 1 I ran out of recources pretty fast.

    It would make the Iroquois a lot more playable if they could get an infinite wood shipment like the Indians.
