When I startup the game Asian Dynasties and start the Multiplayer Mode I get a screen for an update wich starts downloading and from the moment it switches to a dos screen the computer hangs.

In the dos box it hangs on the chktrust.exe command.

I manually ran the chktrust -v aoe3y-101a-english.rtp command from a dos box and give me a succeeded result. But what then ?

 Any idea what's going wrong here ?

you just need to wait for the patch to download and click OK when it asks if you want to update the game and just wait...

no need to use that screen

but, if it isn't working, you can manually dowload the 1.01a patch here on agecomm and run it
