    Subject: Artillery doesn't have attack

    When I try to design a scenario with artillery in it, and I set the age to imperial, and I set the techs to be available, the artillery don't do anything but move. What's wrong?

    Yes artillery works in the normal game itself, just not the playtests or the playing of scenarios custom made

    can you specify more?

    Like why doesnt it attacks, do you use the artillery, do you set it to attack, etc...

    Not sure what you're having a problem with here..If you post a bit more info..I'll do my best to help you if I can..To set your age to imperial.. You'd need to do the following..

    E.G.

    Trigger1

    Active :

    Condition: Timer (6)

    Effect: Player set age ( 0 ) ( plyr1) Display effects on

    Effect: Player set age  ( 1 ) (plyr1) Display effects on

    Effect: Player set age ( 2 ) (plyr1) Display effects on

    Effect: Player set age ( 3 ) (plyr1) Display effects on

    Effect: Player set age ( 4 ) (plyr1) Display effects on

    Again..If this is not what you want..Please post a bit more info?

    Yeah, when I open the stats for the artillery, there are only hitpoints, resist, and movement or something. No Attack stats at all. Yes I set the age the imperial

    Alright.

    You need to advance your civ's artillery abilities by setting a couple triggers..I usually set  these triggers in my scenerios with a timer condition..I use the set tech status effect and the modify protounit effect. I group all my set tech status in one trigger and all my modify protounit trigger in another..(The fields that work)..There is a thread I started in this category..(Modify protounit) and all the fields that work are listed..You may want to check it out..You'll find it on page two or three..You can also look it up over at the wiki..That link is found in the pinned,  nine most asked question thread (Page1).

    In the set tech status you should set all the techs through all the ages that involve the art.units to active..You need to set the tech for your civ to imperial also..You need to know all your techs involved with your civ..You can only upgrade what is available (Tech wise) for your civ..I hope this can help with what you're trying to do..
