I am new to this game. Only been playing it for a few months. I love it and its a shame so few are playing it. Actually, my brother forced me to try it.. and suddenly we were a gang of 4 who bought the game and are playing against each other.

I purchased it through steam, and I think it is too expensive for being a 6 year old game. Reducing the price might help getting new people to buy it.

Also, as a noob, it's actually a bit hard to start learning and playing online. There are so MANY really skilled players, and it's frustrating to loose loose loose and do nothing but loose. Cause I feel like the noob/uber-pro ratio is 1/1000. Also, getting kicked out of games cause I'm too noob doesn't make the whole gaming experience that much better either.

But some players are really friendly and help you out and teach you new tricks. That's great and makes me want to continue playing.

Might also help if people were more open to playing something else than just Deccan or The Great Plains..... gets a bit boring sometimes ya know.

Many ppl (rookies) for one or two weeks.... and then: ESO pop as previously the offer from steam.. Me no need to smurf and no care these "one day" noobs... but they can give me their acc's if they go to play kids lol, wow or something other shi* who doesn't care me.

I agree that it can be very annoying for someone to get kicked, but they really need to understand the rating system.

A private playing vs a 1st lieut is like a first-time SC2 player playing vs platinum, or a 1200 elo LoL player duo-queue with a 1800 gold. It's annoying, for everyone. The noob gets bashed like ***, and all the higher ranked players get a un-fun roflstomp.

That said, I'd be more than happy to help anyone who asked. I'm not going to sit there and play a 8 min game when someone says 'trust me i'm good' though.

As well intentioned as that might be, i highly doubt a lv4 will learn anything getting smashed by PR40+.

It's better to teach him how to move the pieces before teaching him how to avoid getting 4-move checkmated

How/why did it get dropped from the WCG?

Ive been suffering of the same problem most new players do here. I used to be a hamachi player years ago, then recently I decided to go legal and bought the complete pack from steam to finally play on ESO.

However I cant just hack my hc lvl to over 9000, which means I need to level up the hard way: with other players. The problem is I get kicked hard at every room I join and when I host my own game, regardless of being 1v1, 2v2 or NvN, I sit down for hours watching the empty spaces intact. How the hell im supposed to get into the game if nobody wants to even see my face??

 I already played as portuguese, ottoman, german, french and japanese. Currently im focusing on the french as I can play with it on both vanilla and TAD.

I'm sure that there are still players who would like to help you. The hardest thing to find them is you trimzone. If you live in a country with a more-used time zone, you would probably get your help much faster.
