    Subject: Lighting Issues
    I recently bought a new laptop and installed aoe3 and warchiefs on it.  Ive fiddled with the settings but my game has a major glare issue where everything looks greenish.  This laptop is brand new and more powerful then the old pc in every way - but is there any fix for this issue?

    what video processor does it have?

    maybe try updating the gfx driver...

    how do i update? how do i check if it has that lightning requirement?  Its deff powerful enough

    to update you need to enter the manufacturer's site, download the driver, uninstall the old driver and install the new one.

     

    which laptop do you have? many new laptops have a weak GPU(video processor) and AOE3 needs a good GPU

    Alright im running on a  "mobile intel 965 express chipset family".  It seems to have the memory, and im almost certain it has the transforming and lighting or whatever it needs.  AOE3 lets me play and gives me no video notifications.  ? i dont understand the problewm

    the classical Intel GMA965, i don't think it's supported by Aoe3, but it shouldn't cause problems though, just some lag.

    sorry, but i have no more ideas...

    whenever my game shows up greenish i do this.

     right click game shortcut>properties>compatibility>if 256 color is ON, i turn it OFF, then it usually goes back to normal

    compatibility didnt fix it i fiddled around with it.  The chip causes 0 lag.  I can run the game tons faster then b4, it just is friggen green. cant seem to get the driver download to work ethier... can u find the site

    i'm not sure if there are drivers to download for Intel graphics, try what casino royal said, make sure if the color settings are not messed up

    I fixed the problem by editing my shader options...  I just had to turn them down.
