    Subject: The demo in Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome CD.
    I remember if you buy the original Age of Empires: The Rise of Rome not the gold pack, the CD have demo of other game. There was a game that allow you to control tank and helicopter using a grid map like, does anyone know the name of that game?

    Guess this mean no one know the name huh? damnit, if only I can get original CD. The only cd I could find is golden pack.

    Hello, this is my first post! Smile

     I am sorry to start out asking, but I am looking for exactly the same game the OP described. Does somebody -by any chance- still own an original cd of JUST the Rise of Rome expansion? I own the Gold Edition, but the beforementioned demo is not on that cd. Thanks in advance.

    Never mind: thanks to isohunt and a not, but sufficiently, complete RoR iso (98.7%) & WinRaR, I was able to find out that the demo is called

    Urban Assault Wink

     

    That finally answers this ancient question (or was it a quest..?)

    Actually I recently played with Augustiello. He did not OOS or droptrick and I experience no lag. I guess he doesn't cheat anymore,

    There's a huge community still going for Urban Assault called Stoudson Corporation at MetropolisDawn.com

    They play multiplayer games on GameRanger. Both the demo and the full version of Urban Assault are supported for multiplayer.

    (Just like the demo/trial and full versions of Rise of Rome are supported for multiplayer.)
