    Subject: Civilizations Over Power

    Hello guys,

I'm beginning to play Age of empires 3, and i wish i knew What are the most powerful civilizations and their main advantages (Late Game - Supremacy). Just over power civs.

currently i'm playing with frenches and portugueses. Frenches and Ports are good on the last game? Eco and Military.

     Thankx

You're new, eh? This question has been asked a lot.

Most Over-Powered Civs are usually considered: France, Japan, Russia, China and Iroquois. And sometimes Spain, Germans and India. The last three vary by argument...

    How about the Sioux?

Regardless, there are several posts about this with several different civs on each of them. So I could careless if I leave one or the other out. France, Japan, China, Russia and Iroquois are the main civs that get mentioned. I think the only civ that hasn't made it on the OP list at some time or another are the Dutch. I gave the main five, I did all I needed to do. He asked which civs were considered OP, they're it.

But Iro is definitely NOT overpowered in treaty, just as China is nowhere near overpowered in supremacy. Overpowered civs is a completely meaningless statement without specifying gametype. And spain and germans just aren't OP. Just because a random sergeant says something doesn't make it true or worthy of repeating.

Yeah, in TR Iroquois and Spain are powerful, but not over powered. Below the 4 actual op civs, tr is quite balanced, until you hit the *** civs. I'm guessing its the same for Supremacy.

Yes, I thought about that when I made my reply to Jerom, I should have specified between Treaty and Supremacy, but, I didn't specify so that's my bad.

Well China aren't OP in sup, but they are quite strong because they can mass quality units just as fast as Russia. The only difference is that Russian units lose to everything. On the other hand chu ko nus have an incredible ROF and qiang pikes aren't much worse than standard european pikes.

You're a noob and you suck at supremacy.

NO. U simply don't rush with china. It's designed for a FF. rushing with china=rushing with port.

In other words, it would be a fail to rush with china.

Chinese is superior in treaty especially when combines with Sioux, Iroquois and either British (sea) or France and Spain (land) but in other games I prefer Spain, France or India
