    Subject: Circle in middle of map
    Hey guys. I am new to AOE3 and bought is mostly for map making and such. But whenever I try to change the map size (300 each side) I always get this circle in a diamond shape elevated in the middle of the map. Is there any way to get rid of this? I want to get the maximum map size. Your help would be much appreciated.

    Just use the elevation sample tool to get the elevation of the map, and then brush over the diamond areas and it will flatten it out.

    Click on the icon that looks like a dropper over a hill. Might be helpful to know that the maximum map size is 1024x1024, and in the map size menu you're ADDING to the current map size, not setting it.
