    Subject: Can't watch recorded multiplayer games
    When I go to open a recorded game it only shows me ones I played against the computer. Where are the ones from playing online? Are they in a different folder or were they never recorded to begin with?

    A game will not be recorded unless the person hosting the game checked this option in the game room. To view a recorded game, go to Help and Tools > Recorded Games. Recorded games are different from saved games. The last recorded game will be placed in Documents\My Games\Age of Empires 3\Savegame, and unless renamed will be Record Game 1.age3rec Remember, also, that you have to play back a recording using the expansion under which it was recorded:

    • age3rec = AOE
    • age3Xrec = TWC
    • age3Yrec = TAD

    Ok I believe the problem is that games are not recording even when I check the box to say please do. It's in games arranged by the Matchmaking service. Anyone else had this problem?

    In Quick-search games there is no host per se so ESO designates one player as the host. A Quick-search game will only be recorded if the player designated as the host has pressed the record button.
